We walked in spontaneously and were lucky to get a table. The place has a very good selection of local dishes, combined with a comprehensive wine menu. Staff was attentive and very friendly.Only point which prevents getting a rating of 5: Food arrived way too quickly. We were still enjoying our aperitif when starters arrived, and mains followed right after that. A bit more time in-between would have been nice.However, we will be back when in Zernez.Thank you very much for your good rating and your nice reply. We're glad to knowing that you enjoyed your stay at our restaurant. Your input about the service-times we take very serious and will do our best to give more time in-between. Thank you for that. I choose the Restaurant Uja Traube in Scuol after looking in tripadvisor. I can confirm that it is defenitely worthwile eating there. I went there with a group of friends and chose the dish of the day and enjoyed it on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Everything was perfect, the food, the service and all this to a reasonable price. All in all, great place.

This tiny 400-year-old bar/restaurant is off Scuolâs main avenue, but it is well worth the climb up the narrow street to find it â if you enjoy meat. We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was a perfect combination of excellent cuisine, friendly and professional service and a charming ambience. The beef filet was perfectly cooked and practically melted in the mouth. The spare ribs were amazing and the barbeque sauce was a delicate balance between sweet and tart. Rolf, the owner and waiter, was knowledgeable about wine and provided efficient, friendly service and will give you a thorough explanation of the other meat offerings, which include bison and reindeer. To top off the dinner, you must try the Toblerone mousse.

As a Relais et Chateau and Michelin rated restaurant, it is of course superb, and the wine list is also excellent. The hotel and restaurant are undoubtedly the best in the Lower Engadine Valley.

Recommend reserving in advance, as popular by the locals and now know why! (always a good sign) The food was fabulous and much to choose from. The 3 course set menu offered great options at reasonable prices 29 - 49 CHF (vegetarian choices too)Friendly staff which made our last night stay in Ardez memorable.

A nice and cozy restaurant in Guarda suitable for a special meal. Our visit in the tourist shoulder season (early May) meant that the restaurant (and the town) was mostly empty, but we enjoyed excellent service and a really tasty meal. The Engadiner specialties (the Bündnerfleisch plate, the nut torte, the polenta dishes) were delicious and are highly recommended. For American travelers, the prices will seem expensive, but relative to other Swiss restaurants not overpriced. The location and the atmosphere made the experience memorable.
