You could easily walk by this little place with its wooden tables but don't. Excellent quality food, rice bowls, wraps and the best burgers both meat and veggie we have had anywhere. Half the price of other places. Very friendly staff.

I came back to Lacanau for a quick weekend hide-away but ended up going to the same places I knew, I was not in mood to try new things, and well, I do not regret it. Case in point: Le Lotus, that I always remembered for its authentic Thai food... For a start, the owner upgraded the design and it feels much more "lounge" than before, then the cocktails in variety and in taste, maybe they changed the alcohol brand, are crisper and flavorful, and the menu went up a notch, not really the price but the quality where there is more "color" in the taste, I remember before it was hotter/spicier that tended to mask the more subtle nuances that you can find in Thai food, and I think it is a better experience overall, less spicy= enjoy more the quality and raw taste of the ingredients. I'll definitely be back and recommend it, there is great atmosphere!
