Today i visited with friends this Steakrestaurant. They offer huge Steaks but Seafood as well. The concept is to select different courses to your maindish.I choosed a fillet steak and this was really good, my friends ordered a ripsteak it was huge. The service is a little bumpy, the dishes for the group comes a bit staggered.In general it was good and delicious, the atmosphere is nice. Itâs placed in the second floor, so you have a good view to the streets and the cross in town.

The restaurant is in a prime hotel in Tainan. I was expecting a superior dining experience because it was in the Shangri-La hotel. The staff were a little to casual (jeans)for the prices they were charging for dinner. The dinner menu and wine list were lacking in selection or excitement. We ordered Filet Mignon for dinner (medium rare) and they were cooked perfect except they CUT them in half which dried it out quickly! The sauce menu allowed a choice of sauces so I ordered the garlic butter and it was served COLD. I ordered a salad and regrettably a steak house with no blue cheese dressing. For the location and the clientele they desire to engage with the menu needs to be reviewed. The wine list desperately needs to be improved because its BORING. I know you folks at MEZZ can do better. Looking forward to trying it again....

I had excellent food at Robin's grill and very nice service by the staff. They have captains who speak very good english so you can communicate your eating habits to them. Must try the Salad bar at the entry and fresh catch of the day from set sea food menu... Also try their Smoked salmon.. just lovely.

Order Boston lobster and medium done Angus steak. The lobster is very fresh. Good to be eaten by itself or with their prepared cheese source. The steak was tender and goes well with the rose sea salt. Generally the price well is reasonable considering the quality of the food. A bit of a mixed review here. Some things are done very well, some are not.The positives - Wine selection was well done - Décor, tablecloths, cutlery and china were well done. - Soup and some items were very nice. - No vegetarian menu, but they accommodated my wife with a good selection (good variety and plenty of vegetables).The negatives - Dinner felt like assembly line. Not much of an opportunity to ask for anything customized. -- If you want a rare steak, order this cut. -- If you want a medium steak, order this cut. -- Really, you can't order a steak and say how you want it cooked? - Taste had more of an 'asian' feel to is (sauces). Don't get me wrong, the cut of meat was very good. But, not what I was expecting. In brief, a great try at haute cuisine, but seems to fall short on a few levels... I would take Asians to this restaurant. I would not take Americans to this restaurant.
