The menu and its variety is great! They have very nice service as well, respectful and attentive waiters; however, I find their prices a way too expensive. I would recommend this place to eat with family and friends, though. The place and decoration is very pretty.

I attended a gracious invitation of highly esteemed friends, this Restaurant, located in Curridabat, its similar Escazu, and attention and offer extensive food for those who appreciate taste high quality meats and this chain of restaurants / butcher shops offer Better cuts of meats than you can want. The parking space is limited and customers are many.

The facility itself is quite nice and the service was solid but let's talk about the food. They have the best beef cuts in Costa Rica. I've been twice now. The first time was for a anniversary and we were both truly impressed with our selections. My wife had the salmon and raved about it for days. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Crisp skin but not dry interior. I had a smaller rib-eye and can now stop complaining about how horrid the beef is in Costa Rica. We've been here ten years and eaten out in many ostensibly "fine dining" ($$$$) places and always been disappointed. Not this time. They have beef equal to Dallas or Houston, TX and that's saying something. The second time was a birthday treat for a close friend. I got us a Cowboy Rib-eye and, boy, did I make the right choice. The thing was massive and beautifully marbled, cooked to light medium rare perfection with a nice char outside. Succulent. Tender. Flavorful. It ranks in my top five and I'm 73 and have traveled world-wide. That day we ate like starving men and still had a good take-home portion. I am looking for a good excuse to go back. Not for budget balancers but at least you get what you pay for and isn't that the definition of value?

//WHO WE ARE// El Chante Vegan is located in the heart of the city on Avenida 5 near the Post Office. Secured parking is available across from or next to the restaurant. It is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. The restaurant is open from 12:00 a.m. t
They were actually closed but still made us an order to go! Great service and absolutely amazing food! The nicest, sweetest owner, and the nachos were life changing. Weâll definitely be back next time weâre here!

7 of us went after work. It's an open plan place covered but open to outside. There's horse saddles and other paraphernalia thrown about the place to make you feel....not sure what. All of us had a steak of some sort with the usual sides. The steak was a good cut and well cooked. There's nothing special to say about it though...no interesting sides or garnish or flavours so I guess its a good meat and two veg spot. Price came in at $30 a head (2 beers each) which seems ok until you realise that's about half a weeks wages for a factory worker. Go for a steak but not for a culinary experience.
