Ate here for dinner mostly because we wanted to see the football game while eating dinner. The atmosphere is pretty echoey so that made it a little difficult to enjoy the game. My mashed potatoes were excellent but I ordered tri-tip medium rare and it and out like shoe leather.

My wife ordered takeout New Year's Eve. She loves their lobster and so did her mother (RIP). I prefer steaks but I don't like theirs. One thing that is consistent is that when I order medium well I get burnt and charred. Check out the "medium well" steak in this photo. It's not only charred on the outside but it's charred on the inside as well. I've eaten here off and on since 1979. I only go to make my wife happy.

My wife and I had heard several good things about this restaurant and there was a lot of talk on FB so our curiosity got the best of us. Wow we are glad we did. The food was delicious and the steak & lobster was grilled perfectly. We enjoy a good ribeye steak grilled medium and the 77 grill knocked it out of the park. Hopefully the pictures does this place justice. The staff was friendly and our waitress was a little slow but she was busy so itâs uncomfortable. The owner was outside as we were leaving and he seemed very down to earth and friendly. We will definitely be back because Porterville needed a good steak house. I took pictures of the menu so hopefully it helps.
