Don't let the menu card fool you. It sure doesn't look like much, but WOW... I wasn't quite sure what to order, but after a brief talk with the chef (mostly single words and sign language since I don't speak Italian) I went with spaghetti with tomatoes and basil for a starter, followed by THE BEST pork (Italian: maiale) I have ever tasted. Slow cooked for three days, and served with the freshest roasted potatoes. Just wow. My girlfriend had the pizza, which was also fantastic. We also got to try a range of the chef's home made pork sausages before our meal. A truly fantastic meal in very authentic setting. Would LOVE to visit again, and cannot recommend enough. Price wise, it was also an absolute bargain at less than 25 euros for two people incl wine.

We were recommended this restaurant by our Italian colleagues from the University. It did not disappoint. We walked there from our B&B in Baronissi and were the first couple in the restaurant as it opened. It filled later nearer to 9 when many Italian's eat.The waiter, whose English was better than he thought, explained the choices on the menu. We shared the anti-pasta and primi, but choose different secondi and dolci so we could taste more of the menu.The house wine was excellent, their own label.We definitely recommend and hope to return again.It was good value for money.
