I made reservations online and the day of the reservation I was called to confirm it. This dinner was a birthday celebration and they brought the dessert we ordered (and paid for) on a plate with âhappy birthday â written in chocolate along with a candle. All of us ordered steak. Mine was cooked to perfection-medium with a pink center. We split a wedge salad and garlic mashed potatoes- more than enough for 2. Beautifully decorated for Christmas 4 adults and 1 child. Each adult had 1 glass of wine. Total bill including tip was $400

Five of us arrived and, with our reservation, were seated immediately. Our waitress, Q, informed us that she was new, but her service was excellent. Firebirds has started putting calorie counts on the menu and it diverted me from my favorite dish, but I was very pleased with a more reasonable alternative.

Honestly, we only came here because our granddaughter works here. So thereâs that. Itâs great if you like a lot of noise, messy floors (all the peanut shells â but that is their thing), and huge quantities of food that just tastes ok. I will say the butcher display of fresh meat by the kitchen is a nice touch. The service was.not.good.at.all. All the employees wear shirts that say âI love my jobâ. It should end with a question mark. With very few exceptions, no one was happy to be there. Our waitress was not happy and not knowledgeable regarding the menu or adult beverages. She never picked up one dirty plate. By the end of the meal, there was literally nowhere to even rest your arms. Iâm sorry, but that is disgusting. As far as the food, again huge quantities. The ribs were pretty tasty but could have used a bit more sauce. The side corn was not to our taste. The grilled shrimp included 10 decent sized shrimp. It was a little too greasy even though I asked for the sauce on the side. The steak fries were typical as was the Caesar salad. We would not return even if our granddaughter continues to work here!

Visited here to celebrate my Mom's birthday and we had others at our table as well which was fine except that many of us order the Filet and I ordered the Filet with a side of Filet. Well when the chef cooked the steak he chopped it all up and cooked it together then divided it up amongst us all, but I wasn't given a fair portion for having paid $45 for 2 steaks, we had to take steak away from the other party so they got shorted. In my opinion this is a bad way to handle a customers food; when I mentioned it to the manager she said that's normal and the chefs are trained to assure each person hot the same serving ( that's the issue since I paid for extra steak). Then the waitress wanted to go get the chef and bring him over to see what he had to say about it, so let's go through a nice confrontational experience not the best way to handle something. The final knock on the experience was that most of the steaks were ordered medium, not medium well, not well done.. 1 steak was ordered medium well and it went on grill last and came off first, 1 steak was well done and it went on 2nd to last and came off second after the supposedly Medium steaks. Most of our party said their steak was overcooked.
