It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. A once fine dining establishment and one of the last true old school steakhouses around has seriously fallen from grace. One can never be sure of exactly what happened, but someone has obviously stopped caring. The kitchen isn't just poor compared to the excellence it used to display, it is poor overall. We have eaten there many, many times over the years and it has always been wonderful, then a visit that was off (it happens) then a visit with friends that was embarrassing, then the last meal, which took forever and disappointed in every way. They should change the name so as not to ruin the memories of this once fine restaurant.

We celebrated 2 birthdays here with family on a Sat night. The food was great and there was a nice selection for all. We had several children and there was a nice selection for them also. The fish and steaks both were delicious. I had the salmon and it was great! We were pleasantly surprised that they had wine specials on a Sat night! We got s bottle before 6 pm for less than the price of 2 glasses! Great deal! And the Cabernet was very good! We had s great night. We certainly will be back!

Celebrating my new job--so we wanted a special dinner--and was it ever! Cole was our awesome server and he made sure we had everything we needed. I had the Chilean Sea Bass with Smashed (red) Potatoes and hubby had the Rib Eye with baked potato. All of it was perfectly cooked and delicious! The Grilled Scallop appetizer was perfect, as well. The scallops were served with a yummy fresh pineapple jalapeno relish and spiced peanuts. The peanuts were not flavorful at all, and not necessary with the scallops. Drinks were not great pours, but tasted good. Rib Eye was perfectly Medium Rare and tender.They will probably not last since they don't have a separate website, NO Facebook page, and the menu on the Longbranch site is not even correct. Sadly, the restaurant is beautiful, food is more than great and service awesome--BUT, the bar next door is a dive, Hotel needs a major facelift and there is NO restaurant signage. SUPER difficult to find any correct info or even find the restaurant.Thank you for your review and comments about our new steakhouse. We new have menus posted on Yelp and on our web site. Thank you for the recommendation as budget allows we intend to do more. Come visit again soon!

I am a big fan of Outback, but this Lindale Mall location is dark, run down, furniture grimy, and far below the expectations I have of Outback. I had my usual Chicken on the Barbie. Chicken had no sizzle, was dry, and had WAY too much pepper spice.

I stopped for a work lunch this past week and the food was excellent as always. The chef was enjoyable and the waiter was attentive. I had the Osaka lunch which includes steak, chicken, and shrimp and I would definitely recommend it. The price is a little high for lunch; but it is a good sized portion and definitely worth it. We will be back.

WOW! Went for the brunch. What a variety. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. Will definitely plan on going on another visit to our daughter in college in Cedar Rapids.
