Fantastic restaurant, up on a hill outside Hildesheim Germany. On our short trip to Hildesheim, we actually ate here for 2 nights because the food and service were so good. A special call out to the great service from Serkan, who took care of us the second night, when they were very busy -- even coming out to the car to tell us that we could get a table.Menu is meat oriented, but things for non-meat eaters as well. Fantastic appetizers -- burrata, goat cheese etc. Salmon was excellent!

We were 6 persons in rainy Hildesheim who wanted to have some food a Saturday evening. We called a lot of restaurants, visited also but all were occupied, except Dorado! Our expectations were quite low when coming there, but it turned out to be a positive surprise. The meat (rump steak) was very nice and hade exactly the way we ordered. The restaurant can really be recommended!

Wir haben das noch sehr neue Salt durch Zufall entdeckt, über Jahzehnte war dort immer ein griechisches Restaurant. Nach Umbau hat das Salt eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre, neben dem sehr guten Essen gibt es eine breite Cocktailkarte.Es ist bereits gut frequentiert, Reservierung ist empfehlenswert. Nach kurzer Wartezeit an der Bar haben wir dennoch einen Platz bekommen.Neben diversen Steaks gibt es auch eine breite Burgerauswahl. Die Burger sahen sehr gut aus, wir haben Steak und eine heiÃe Pfanne gewählt, beides war hervorragend. Die Saucen sind klasse und das Fleisch war sowohl vom Cut als auch von der Zubereitung top! Der Service ist sehr freundlich, muss sich noch etwas einspielen. Am Anfang war die Musik etwas nervig (eher Boutique Charts) und zu laut, ein freundlicher Hinweis wurde dankend aufgenommen und zu ruhiger Salsamusik gewechselt, die sehr angenehm und passend ist.Die Cocktails probieren wir beim nächsten Mal, die Weinauswahl ist sehr klein und der Merlot ist nicht zu empfehlen...Alles in allem ein guter Zugewinn für die Stadt, sehr toller Laden, wir kommen gerne wieder!

The owner was so kind to hear our requests, though her English is not good. My German friends recommended a mix of Greek grills, and I found it was so large and very delicious. They played Greek music and interiors are the mixture of Greek and German style. Visit here when you miss Greek foods or Grills !
