Met friends here before watching a rainy match at Fortuna Koln (they got relegated). We were in the basement and I felt as though I was in some medieval theme park. Food was great, nice selection of imaginative burgers etc. good wine and beer selection. Waitress was a circa 14th Century wench (I think). Good fun

By coincidence we ended up in this restaurant (close to large shopping centre). We had a mix (warm) starter, which was already excellent. As main meal we had a steak and an entrecote that were perfectly cooked as requested. We will be back here to try the fish (fresh fish!!!) and again for a good steak. And...the red house wine is a very proper (Portuguese) wine. Compliments!

Unfortunately the food wasn't freash. We order about 8 tapas. Non of them was good. Full with oil and was served cold.Dear Mayan,we are really sorry you feel that way. We can assure you that we select the ingredients of our tapas with great care, we buy at the local market and get our meat from a farmer. All our ingredients are fresh. In addition, our kitchen stuff puts a lot of effort in preparing delicious dishes. Some tapas are served cold, but that is signalled in the menu. The steaks and actually everything made from meat is highly recommendable here. This Argentinian restaurant proud itself on their great grilled food and rightly so! We have never made a bad experience with any of the steaks that we ordered here. Prices are a bit high but worth it, as the service is very friendly and professional and the surroundings are very cozy, as well inside as outside. The complementary dips with freshly baked baguettes which they offer are delicious, too. If you´re in Cologne or directly in Frechen you should come here and enjoy a nice evening with great food. The only reason why I didn't´t grant 5 stars, is, that the side dishes(mushroom heads, veggies from the grill etc.) come in very small portions, are bit pricey and overall not that good. But hey, who goes to the La Cabana for the side dishes: it´s all about the steaks here!!!
