A group of us were guided here by one of our fellows. They had made a reservation and we were settled in the larger dining room in the back by friendly staff and management. There are good choices for beer and bar items. Two of us shared chicken and spaetzel and were very pleased. Others at our table were happy with portions and their orders. It would be very easy to return here even if it was out of the way.

This is still probably my favorite steak restaurant in all of Whatcom County and I would have given it 5 stars but over the last 5 years or so, the food seems to be inconsistent. I will get the best steak I have ever had (again) one time then some stringy piece the next time. Although even when it isn't the best, it is still very good. I think the menu is a little tired because it is exactly the same as it was 15 years ago (maybe longer) but that is just me since I have been going there for so long. People seem to like the ceasar salad but I say go for the soup, they are all VERY good. I like the dark, wood, German thing they have going on in the dining room, I can see why other's wouldn't find it appealing though.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere on the lounge side. We went on a very busy night but our server was fast and efficient. My husband said that it was the best steak he ever had and he knows steak. I had the steak salad and it was delicious!

Throwing peanut shells on the floor is fun. Otherwise, it seems like thereâs not a whole lot of original/housemade items here. I will say the coconut shrimp was quite excellent, and the shoestring fries were decent, so theyâre obviously working with some quality products. But I wish there was more variety and original flavor to choose from. My boyfriend and I had margaritas, which were surprisingly good (read: not skimpy on the tequila element). Nothing here to die for, but again, snacking on peanuts while waiting for your food makes it pretty fun.

We have had many wonderful meals here!I highly recommend the ribs, they are a delight!! The restaurant also serves what I call "skinny fries'....they are DELICIOUS!!!We have had a variety of items on the menu & have not been disappointed yet.The burgers are delicious! The staff has always been friendly, they have some great servers on staff!Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Lynden & looking for a good meal!
