Went for dinner with a friend who is regular and what can I say. One of the best Italian food experiences in long time. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and plate presentation is beautiful. The restaurant was very busy. My starter was Polpette al sugo followed by the main course Petto di pollo alla Milanese. Very tasteful, beautifully prepared and felt very satisfied. Reminds me of the food served in Sorento. Will be back very soon.

Saturday evening dinner booked at this restaurant, but we arrived early and although they were busy, they managed to find us a table straightaway - good start as we were both very hungry. Warm welcome from the chap on reception and as he found us a table early, I was prepared to forgive him for calling me 'mate'!Our server was a very friendly mature lady who was pleased to advise on drinks and food combinations. Service throughout the evening was prompt and polite. Our starters were the scallops and lobster and prawn cocktail. Both were very well presented and delicious. For the main event, my good lady went for the fillet steak whilst I chose the Rib eye. Both arrived perfectly cooked as we'd asked. The accompanying salads were also well presented - I can highly recommend the stilton and blue cheese dressing to accompany the lettuce wedge. I requested a jacket potato instead of fries (a meaningless gesture to my diet) and they were happy to oblige, even though I didn't actually find jacket potato on the menu. An absolutely delightfully filling main course that meant we shared a chessboard for pudding. I have to say there was more than enough for the two of us, with good variety of cheeses and crackers. What made it even better was that we had a voucher for a freebie on the strength of a previous visit to another Miller & Carter.Its not cheap, but this Miller & Carter offers good value for money. The quality of our steaks was very good. The staff were kept busy by a pretty full set of tables, but went about their business efficiently and with a smile on their faces - always good to see.Hi Hertsbob, thank you so much for your positive comments about Miller & Carter Brighton! There is a reason that this is rated the best restaurant in Brighton. Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I had the tasting menu which I would highly recommend. All the food was amazing - I was stuffed but wanted more. The incredible food was topped off with very friendly staff. A must go to if you visit Brighton.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on Sunday. I absolutely loved the blue cheese butter and the steak was the best I have ever had. Excellent service from Danielle, so friendly! We will definitely be back.
