The steak was okay, but there were other things on the menu that were horrible (pork ribs). You should never put things on the menu that are horrible. Thatâs like restauranting 101, why would anyone do that? If you canât make it the best, then donât make it. And it ends up being 10x what a local Vietnamese meal would be. Best to stick with pho and mangoes. I am really sorry to hear about the pork ribs not meeting your expectations. We are always checking with our guest to make sure they are happy with the food and if by chance we failed to do so, did you complain to our staff? We would have been happy to replace the dish or even comp it for you. Our customers satisfaction is very important and feed back really helps us improve. I personally send an email to our guest after dining (if they booked via our website) and there should have been a comment card presented with your bill. Please feel free to email me as I would like to make this right - [email protected] About your Restaurant 101 comment - 1. Why would i purposely create a menu item that is horrible to sell? 2. Vietnam does offer some really nice food like pho and mangoes, but you can not compare our prices with local food. People should visit as many Vn restaurants as they can and when you want a change and looking for western food, then we are a great option. We buy local ingredients as much as possible, but quality wine, steaks, poultry, etc are imported for quality and food safety reasons. There's a cost to import these items with duties as high as 100% plus the cost of transportation. also rental rates are as expensive here as they are in the US. I run a much higher food cost than 90% of other restaurants only to try and keep my prices at a reasonable level while still trying to turn a profit and never compromising our quality.Once again, We seemed to have missed meeting your expectations, but i would like for you to email me with more detail explaining what was so horrible about the ribs. I will do everything I can to try and make things right.

We ate here twice while staying at the Sheraton Grand Hotel. It was some of the best food we had in Vietnam.The staff are extremely tentative and friendly. We had seen the reviews and made our way to the restaurant. We were not disappointed at all. The food, the wine, the service was spot on. I have to address previous reviews of being it being expensive. Are you kidding me? Why is everyones perception that Vietnam must be cheap. This restaurant represents amazing value and yet you have a 5 star service and incredible food. Training a team, purchasing only the finest ingredients, importing the best wine costs money - even in Asia. If you are on a tight budget then there is a market around the corner. But if you are like me and want good wine and an amazing dinner then you MUST visit Olivia's Prime Steakhouse. Thank you to the team. I love your restaurant and will be back!WOW!!! Someone actually gets it! Costs of importing the best wine and other ingredients will cost even more in Vietnam.
