Frankly, I have not had a bad dining experience in Japan before today (I travelled to Japan over 70 times in the past.) This restaurant is really the worst I have ever visited. It is located in the basement of APA Hotel in Tokyo Bay. Access to the place is not easy to find. It took my colleague and I four trails to get there. We have to find a hidden corridor to get to a stairway to the basement. The only good two points I can name is that it has good services and it is clean and tidy (so is virtually every single restaurant in Japan!) At JPY 2,500, the business lunch I had was just horrible. The quality of steak was just not to the Japanese standard and was overcooked. The lobster was expensive and is tiny (hardly larger than a medium size shrimp.) To make it worst, it tasted BAD! Undercooked. Tomato and lobster were just a bad match. I refused to have a second bite of the lobster.I picked this place because I thought it would be a safe choice to go to a hotel restaurant and to avoid the crowds during peak hour. Well, we sure had no problem in getting our table as the place was almost empty. However, ... Please just avoid this restaurant.

They have a great salad bar, beverage bar, rice, soup and waffles. Specially I liked garlic rice. I ordered the most famous garlic steak. I normally prefer medium rare. At the first, they are kind of rare and they have a hot stone. So I can grill to what I want. But I couldn't the meat and vegie are fresh.

We tried this place because we saw that there always seemed to have a queue to eat at this resto. We decided to come early at 4:30pm to have our dinner. We chose our steak, decided on the weight and how it was gonna be cooked. We got excited when we saw the steak delivered to our table. It was very tender and we really liked the taste. We only wish we could have sat down to fully enjoy the meal but this is what the resto is known for - good steaks eaten while standing up!

Plena shopping centre has many restaurants to choose from. We choose this place because it seemed a lot more lovely than the others around it. They also have an english language menu which is more than just convenient for knowing what they offer - it can also help you to know what things might be interesting to taste! We sat at the counter and they were grilling the meat right in front of us. The menu is vast and there is certainly something for all tastes. The cost was affordable 3800 for two including some delicious plum wine! Stop in to enjoy a lovely and lively Japanese style meal.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life! Personal chef cooks in front of you and is open to any conversation. You will be well treated here with food and drink. The top chef and owner personally served me and even gave me a signed copy of his chef hat!! I have had the most wonderful experience and the finest food. I didnât post every course of the meal but here are several I enjoyed. I highly recommend coming here.

Visited the one at Kouhoku, inside Minamo Mall, 1st floor. It was crowded on weekend. Be there as early as possible before peak time. There'll be a guest waiting name list to write on for queue purpose. Lunch set comes with soup n salad bar. Parking at mall will be discounted when paying your bill after meal. Do show your parking as that time. Staff is friendly n looks young on average but well-trained. Lots of families with children. I suppose it's due to affordable pricing. The mall seems to have a spa n kids club too. The menu choice is fabulous - for real hungry wolf n average eater. Definitely recommended. Beef is tender n delicious. Salad bar selection is very nice, with 4-5 choices of dressings. The carrot dressing is good. Photos will be posted later.

My wife and 2 daughters stopped in for a dinner after a day at Tokyo Disneyland. This is a typical Western chain restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our dining. The food was well prepared and served fast. We had soup, salads, ribs, chicken and steak. All were prepared well and we had a very nice time in a relaxed environment.
