We had good lunch. We chose the buffet which had limited and adequate local food. We noticed many westerners ordering western food. The price is very reasonable.

We loved everything about this place, the view is incredible, the food is amazing and freshly cooked and caught that same day. And the staff is the nicest you will meet! After we had a couple of lion beers during the sunset view we went to see the wild elephants (approx 40) which came to the lake to drink because itâs dry season. Best experience so far! We will come back to Habarana some day If you want to book some tours in the surrounding areas like Sigiriya rock ask for Tuk Tuk driver Mozes! He has the biggest heart and loves to show you wildlife and picks you up in the middle of the night! Hello again and thank you so much for your heart warming review. Located just off the main road, this place is a hidden gem. For lunch we had a variety of traditional Sri Lankan curries and it was one of the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka. Lucky is a warm and friendly host and is happy to cater to your needs. We are so happy our driver took us here, thanks Lucky!

Loved this place we went for dinner, we walked down cute little pathway all lit up to this little hut like restaurant open and cool. We had the chefs special, a share plate full of different Sri Lankan food to try, the food was great. The service was even better, friendly with prompt service. Would highly recommend a visit if ever in Sigiriya

We visited the restaurant for both breakfasts and dinners during our three day stay at the resort. Enjoy buffet or a la carte, I opted for the buffet dinners, my wife something different from the menu. Both options delivered quality meals, we were indeed spoilt for choice. I checked the buffet two/three times trying to make a selection decision, finally deciding that I would select as tasting plate style. Amazing taste sensations and delicious food each evening. Breakfast buffets were equally expansive, I thought too much choice but I guess catering to nearly every palate. The usual impeccable service from staff with my wife receiving personal attention due to the plaster cast on her arm.

My fiancé and I went here for dinner. It was a good surprise to find many vegetarian options. We had soup, main courses and dessert. Everything was tasty and the portions very abundant enough. An episode that made me really happy and wanting to return here (other than the tasty food and the cozy atmosphere) was when a stray cat came outside the restaurant and started hanging around the tables, at this point many owners would have the kicked out the poor thing but not here: the owner went to the kitchen, brought a dish of food and gave it to the cat who happily left the place. Tasty food, cozy atmosphere and great people. We had one of the best curries in Sri Lanka here (out of 5 weeks we spent in this country on a couple of visits). At first we were disappointed by the size of the portions, but then it turned out that it's OK to ask for refills :-) One rice and curry set (with a soft drink) costs 490 LKR, so it's good value for money.

Went to Prassanaâs restaurant as it was opposite our hotel the Cinnamon Lodge. I believe in promoting local family businesses and checked Tripadvisor after our first night was spent eating at the hotel restaurant as we were too tired to go outside the hotel. We were not disappointed and on our first visit had the chicken and seafood Bbq for 2 people - too much food though as it contained chicken, prawns, calamares, potatoes, pineapple, tomatoes, vegetables and coconut roti. Simply wonderful. Tonight we then returned and had the seafood kottu and devilled chicken. Again food was plentiful and tasty. So wonderful that since my husband was suffering with a bad knee after visiting Siguriya, Prassana gave us a lift back to the hotel in his Tuk tuk. A lovely family who need to be successful in their business venture - they deserve it!
