It is part of the New York metropolitan area, 21.6 miles (34.8 km) southwest of Manhattan and 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Staten Island. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 27,346, reflecting an increase of 846 (+3.2%) from the 26,500 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,175 (+4.6%) from the 25,325 counted in the 1990 Census.

A group of us reserved a table for lunch to celebrate a co worker. While the restaurant was empty, service was very slow. Our waitress never took drink orders, and we had to get her attention to take our lunch orders. Even though we all opted for the lunch specials (sandwiches) it took almost an hour to get our food, and when it came to the table the food was cold. The food itself was not very appetizing, with little flavor and my sandwich lacked meat.

I've been here a few times now, and I'd recommend it to friends if they were in town. Go there for the food, and if you don't expect too much else, you'll have a very good time.

I stumbled over this place via a recommendation from a chef from another restaurant. Hidden away from the main street, you step into this restaurant with simple interior, marble flooring and an atmosphere to make you feel like in another country and on vacation.I tried their mixed seafood cevice and I was blown away. So well seasoned and marinated to perfection.I will come definitely again to try other delish dishes from here.

Dropped in at Le Malt for a date with my wife. Great atmosphere and dark intimate setting. Unreal selection of scotch, whisky, specially drinks and wine. Comfortable seating. We just did drinks and an assortment of app/tapas. The scallops were real good as was the cheese plate and dessert. Will return for special occasions or date nights

II passed by this place several times and glad I finally stopped in...narrowing my choices down was difficult, but the pernil asado was OUTSTANDING!!! The pernil meat was so tender and melt in your mouth!! If you have never tried their cilantro house dressing you should...you won't be disappointed. I cannot wait to go back to try their other dishes.
