We went to Quinoa on our first night in Falset and it was even better than we imagined. The restaurant is really nice inside, the service is fabulous, the wine menu is great and not over expensive and the tapas were spectacular. We had a good variety of different one and all was good, fresh and very tasty. Only the bravas let us down as they were reheated, but apart from that it was top notch and we will definitely go back again.

Absolutely gorgeous meal, first class wine list really focussed on gems from the Priorat region. Lovey view of Falset village. Josep was very accommodating of us having our 2 dogs with us on the terrace outside. Great service. Good value for money. Very happy. Weâll be back!! Xx

This is a place to go when there is nowhere else open. You'll have a pleasant time in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.But don't expect more.Of the three tapas that we ate, two were very good: the "estofado" and the homemade croquettes. The third tapa was not very good, far from it: the patatas bravas, which were smothered in mayonnaise and a red sauce out of a bottle that was certainly not brava sauce.The service, though friendly, was extremely slow. The kitchen was clearly stressed though we were the first ones in and it was dead when we ordered. And they had a menu of only five tapas!We also had one of the "torrada" dishes that they do, which is basically toast with something on it - a bit like a homemade pizza. While this was very good, it was very simple and could have been better and made quicker.The service was quite random: we were served the "estofado", we finished eating it, and then the bread came. Also, when we finished eating the tapas, the paper placemats were set and the knives and forks produced. Odd.The place has a cosy atmosphere, seems popular on a Thursday for their tapas night and offers very reasonable prices.

Very nice fresh local food. Had a lunch Menu del Dias so three courses in 16⬠(wines not incl.). Not maybe the cheapest one in town but food was far over average and service was really friendly. Good wine list.Es verdad, quizás no somos baratos, pero creo que seguimos con nuestra filosofÃa de buscar buenos productos y sobretodo, queremos que la estancia en el restaurante sea para recordar. My wife and I have been going to Les Agulles for a few years. The food has always been great, especially Crepes d'Espinacs (Spinach Pancakes) and Conill amb Bolets (Rabbit with Mushrooms).In the summer, at weekends, they have evening barbecues which are excellent value for money at 8.50 Euros (drinks and desserts extra).Finally we need to mention the proprietors, Ferran and Imma, who are friendly courteous and great conversation. Don't worry if you don't speak either Catalan or Spanish as Imma speaks very good English. Love the place.

We were here twice, once in the afternoon for a break on a cycling tour, once for dinner.First time the service was slow and uninterested, the cake was good, as was the coffee.Second time, the service was attentive and friendly(same staff). The food was ok, but not great. The meat, ordered âmedium rareâ was rather âbleuâ the fries where oily and we did not touch them.The winelist is good, prices appropriate. We think, there is room for improvement.

We started a small tour through the Priorat and MontSant area in Falset. As it was lunchtime we were directed to this place.The menu is very compleet, 2 cources, a desert, a drink and a coffee for â¬10,-.For every course you can pick from a short list. For the first cource they had Tortellini with pear and a sauce of black olives. Great combination, the sweet and softness from the pear and the saltyness from the olives. Great.The rest was simple but good.The service was good and they also did speak english.A good start of the tour!

Calaix de Sastre is situated on a pretty square in the centre of Falset. The interior walls are decorated with wooden casings from many of Priorat's wineries. It's a great spot to enjoy some superb Priorat wines by the glass without having to buy a whole bottle. They've got a limited choice of things to eat on the menu, mainly platters of cheese and ham, but they're tasty and ideal to accompany your wine selections, just don't expect to have lunch or dinner here.

Just out of Falset this place has ample parking and both outdoor and indoor seating. Specialising in traditional Catalan food they are also strong on grilled option (meat, vegetables, rabbit etc). The staff are smartly uniformed and very courteous and professional not stuffy. Good wine list as you'd expect, at very fair prices and some nice home-made desserts for just 3 or 4 euros. The owner speaks good English. We came in January and I might have preferred a slightly warmer / more cosy look and feel but basically this place is a very good option if you want true local food and are not interested in anything too fancy or messed around with. I'd go again.
