Ayer estuve comiendo en este restaurante con 2 amigos. Como nos habÃan dicho que suelen tardar bastante llamamos para reservar a media mañana y para que nos prepararan sobre las 2.30 de la tarde unas patatas a lo pobre y unas migas. Llegamos a la hora reservada, pues bien,la comida llegó a las 4 menos diez, 80 minutos para preparar unas patatas y unas migas. A las 4.05 pedimos la cuenta y unos cafés y a las 4.30 ni nos habÃan traÃdo los cafés ni la cuenta....alucinante. Claro que más alucinante fue cuando, después de cancelar lo de los cafés, nos dieron un papel ininteligible con una cuenta de 79 euros por unas patatas, unas migas y 6 bebidas( cervezas y 2 vinos con casera)...Al decirle al propietario que nos pormenorizara la cuenta, se puso a gritar como un energumeno y a decir unas cosas que por respeto a los usuarios de esta página no voy a reproducir, sólo diré que pasé miedo. Por supuesto no volveré nunca a este lugar, lo que sà quiero advertir es que tengan cuidado los que se quieran aventurar a visitarlo en hacer cualquier crÃtica al propietario, ya que pueden salir calentitos. Decir, eso sà que las patatas y las migas estaban buenas, aunque nada del otro mundo, y a mÃ, obviamente, me sentaron muy mal.

Whilst staying in the town of Cazorla, we drove out to the river and stopped at Arroyo Frio for lunch. This looked to be the nicest place, and we were delighted to find that the meat was cooked over an open flame ... best lamb chops and flame-grilled chicken we've ever had! The total cost for our family of four was just â¬35 including salad and drinks (there is also a shady children's play park right next door for the kids to run off some more energy!)

Cuidado con este restaurante, sobre todo con la camarera. Fuimos a almorzar un martes, pedimos la carta y las bebidas. Hasta ahà todo bien. Mientras estábamos leyendo la carta escuchamos como a unos chicos de la mesa de al lado les dice el menú del dÃa, por lo que cuando viene a tomarnos nota le preguntamos por el menú y nos dice que no hay, nos miramos sorprendidos. No le dimos mayor importancia y marchamos entrecot, presa y croquetas. Se marcha la camarera y entra una señora que se sienta dos mesas al lado de la nuestra, y cuál es nuestra sorpresa, la señora le pregunta por el menú, la camarera se lo recita como a los chicos, y la señora pide el menú. Es aquà cuando nos indignamos. Parece ser que haya que pagar un impuesto a parte si o si si te ven de fuera, te sacan el dinero como sea. Al pedir la cuenta, más asombro, nos meten 2,50⬠más en concepto de varios que no saben decirnos qué es exactamente. Los refrescos de las pequeños 2,00⬠cada uno, todo ello con un servicio bastante mediocre y mejorable en todos los aspectos. Lo único positivo fue la calidad de la carne, pero no pensamos volver, vamos a estar varios dÃas en la zona ya que estamos alojados en el balneario,pero aquà no volveremos ni para tomar café. Nos parece una falta de respeto enorme la forma de reÃrse la camarera de los clientes.

The staff prepared a local dessert my wife had read about and the hotel family owner had a family recipe and she prepared and brought it out to us with no charge. Each meal is simple but fresh and savory. I love their breakfasts. And each meal we ate was fresh hot and delicious.

We found this establishment okay for tapas. Nowhere near as good as Cafe Bar Margarita where the tapas accompanying the drinks were delightful but the alitas de pollo were very well cooked and crispy. Other tapas were tasty too.I wanted to write a review of the Restaurant Arroyo Frio which is at one end of Arroyo Frio but Trip Adviser doesn't recognise it. This restaurant is quite simple but is welcoming with good service and provides good food in sensible portions. We ate main meals there twice and the food was very good- much better than La Taberna. For example, the trout was beautifully cooked and came with chips and salad in small but sufficient amounts. It was therefore good value. The solomillo de cierbo was very tasty. The house wines(red and white) were delicious.

Fuimos a cenar tras alguna que otra mala experiencia en restaurantes de alrededor y, la verdad, este fue todo un acierto. El salmorejo estaba muy bueno, y los principales que pedimos, tanto el surtido de patés (perdiz, jabalà y ciervo, cada uno mejor que el anterior), como la carne de monte guisada, estaban deliciosos y abundantes (tanto que no nos los pudimos acabar). Nos sacaron como tapas unas "papas arrugás" que, aunque no son tÃpicas, su mojo picón estaba muy bueno. Nos quedamos con las ganas de pedir postre, pero estábamos llenos, y nos quedamos con las ganas de repetir, pero los lunes estaban cerrados. El servicio, muy bien. Tienen el detalle de preguntarte si quieres pan antes de sacártelo (y cobrártelo). Los precios de lo que pedimos para los peques, bastante razonables. Muy aconsejable y totalmente justificada su puntuación.

We were here in November, on a rainy weekend, and it was a great place to be. Since there were not too many people the main dining room was closed but the bar was open, with about 6 tables and a great fireplace. The grilled meat is delicious and abundant. Service was quick. The only problem is that they don't take credit cards and several people had to go to the nearest ATM to get cash.

Pretty delicious food and good portion.The fish is cooked with ham which was interesting.My bf had the hog meat which was nice too. Also try the Iberian ham , very delicious. Only downside is waitress doesn't speak much English but she's very friendly, we got by with basic Spanish and bumped into a guy from Madrid trying to practice English who helped us selecting some unique dishes.

I have found this place throught tripadvisor and all the good reviews were wright.... Amazing food and people... They are very nice and care about theirs curstomers, if you are looking for a place to eat, do not look more, this is the best option. Saw this fusion modern menu and decided to try for dinner since we were in the area and it was our wedding anniversary. The decor is not very special but the service was perfect. We were offered once we ordered a small olive oil tasting of 3 oils from the area. The oils were amazing. Than we had the grilled octopus as an apertizer. And I had bull tailâs meat as a main course.
