Com um tempero que lembra a comida caseira, o Restaurante Linguiça do Padre é um dos bons estabelecimentos do gênero na rota turistica Terê-Fri. O local é bem traducional, sendo os pratos a base de linguiça os carros chefes. Mas o restaurante serve vários pratos com um visual surpreendente.

We were four and ordered a picanha for two and a salad. It was enough. The picanha was good, including sausages and a side dish. We had the collard greens. Fomos ao cat café no último dia 12 de outubro. Havia já entrado em contato por rede social para saber se estaria funcionando e a pessoa foi super simpática. Chegamos pouco depois do estabelecimento abrir, fomos super bem atendido pelo Rick que nos atendeu quando pedimos para sentarmos na varanda e foi super simpático com os meus sobrinhos. As crianças ficaram loucas com a decoração e os gatinhos claro. Rick nos explicou a história do local e nos deu o cardápio. O cardápio é bem variado, realmente para todos os gostos, pedimos uma batata com mussarela e cheddar e anéis de cebola com queijo, cada prato saiu na faixa de 25 reais. O local é um charme, super bem decorado e chama atenção. Depois de comer foi a hora de visitar os gatinhos, tivemos que esperar um pouco, pois estava acontecendo uma adoção e depois do processo finalizado entramos para brincar com os gatos, a contribuição é de 10 reais por pessoa, porém neste dia estava grátis para as crianças e você pode ficar 20 minutos com os bichinhos. A casa tem três mascotes e estava com mais dois gatinhos para a adoção. Fomos informados que haviam mais gatos para adoção, porém estavam em quarentena. Existe uma preocupação bem legal com os bichinhos. Achei bem legal que as pessoas que vão com os cachorrinhos podem se sentar na varanda e curtir o local. Super recomendo e com certeza iremos voltar.

Seafood high in the mountains? Yes, only if it is at Recanto dos pescadores. We had a fabulour Caldeirada de Frutos do Mar (Seaffod Stew), Portuguese style, simply delicious, all accompanied by a fabulous Lambrusco red. Out of this world. We had been here already in 2013 for the sensational Paella Valenciana. Every dish in this restaurant is first class, with desserts to match. Not to be missed when in Teresopolis.

Teresopolis being a tourist destination that is an hour and half from Rio de Janeiro can boast of many quality self-service restaurants but Varieta stands out among them because of the variety of dishes they make available at all hours during lunch and dinner. Most places start to run out of choices when it closing time approaches but Varieta consistently resupplies the buffet table so that you don't feel like you are eating left-overs. Besides the large buffet dishes, there is also a section for freshly made sushi as well as a barbeque counter where you can order cuts of chicken, beef or pork in the portions according to your appetite. Upon entering, an attendant will hand the patron a plastic card will be used to keep tabs of what is consumed. After plating your food, go to the counter with the scales where they will weigh the food and scan the plastic card. After sitting down, a waiter will ask you for your beverage of choice, note the number on the plastic card. If you go for dessert, take the plate to the scale counter and present the plastic card. Coffee is complimentary. When done, take the plastic card to the cashier to pay for your meal.

The restaurant has a simple taste food, as it is your grandmother doing your prefered food, but you have to pay too much for it. As it uses simple ingredients, it shouldn t cost so much. The service too is a little confusing and you have to wait much for your food, as again there isn t nothing elaborate for justify the waiting. For this price, you can find a more sofisticated rest. or the same simple food for less money

This place has a regional cuisine (mineira) which is delicious. It offers chicken, pork, beef, eggs, farofas, as well as rice, beans, polenta and salads. The dessert menu is huge... ParaÃso da Serra has an excellent buffet, with pizza rodizio and other great foods.The lunch buffet is very rich, and Wednesdays and Saturdays there is feijoada in the buffet. Try the crispy shrimp with salad or with rice. Their desserts are also first class.Not to be missed.
