We were staying just next door La Mama Loca. Decided to check it out and from there went back every single day of our trip. If you want good cheap drinks and tasty food this is the place to come. At night they offer live music, is a must to start your night in Bocas.

Had an amazing dinner with our travel krew after long day of transfers and border lines.The steak is beyond delicioso! Coco shrimp w/ Blackberry-Sweet Chli Compote was fave appetizer to start with!!Shrimp tacos...Caribean chicken..all loved! Then came the rum drinks (oh so damn stiffy) and live music! Danced the night away with the new management and could not have felt more like family!!This is a must stop on every trip!!Salud!!

The restaurant atmosphere is very good, has a great view to the ocean as it is landing on the actual reef, starfish can be seen from the entrance and the sides of the restaurant.. Food is very good and value per portion if great..

This side-of-the-road restaurant is across from where you park your car when you stay at Koko Acqua Lodge (we stayed there, see our review about the hotel). We had lunch there. Only 2 other locals ate there, service was quick, food was really good, yet simple. This was local food, with beans and rice mixed in (like Costa Rica's staple dish), French fries (which we never eat at home, so it's a treat), and nicely grilled chicken or pork. Simple but good food, plentiful as well for a fair (local) price. Probably the cheapest meal we bought during our entire stay in Panama, $6/plate. Worth it.

First off this place has so much going for it. I don't know where to start... breakfast... the garden in the back is such a restful place to start the day breakfast burritos coffee, good stuff! Pastry soft serve icecream cookies.Then there's a whole freezer full of frozen meals to take home. You can also rent golf carts and ATV'S. Even the bathrooms are great!Thank-you for visiting us at Island Kitchen. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the gardens. It is really like your away from town when you are sitting in them. Kevin has worked hard on making sure everything has turned out perfect. Yes the bathrooms turned out great and we work hard to make sure they will be one of the best in Bocas. Too bad - it looked very friendly from the outside. However, once seated by the ocean, things got very bad... you wait forever for a drink which is served to you by a totally unmotivated and unfriendly waiter. To her defense, the owner is sooo unfriendly and was shouting on the guests and on her. An absolutely no go! Avoid at any costs - there are so many other good places in BdT!Dear customer: We are working to provied a good service. Its not easy to find the ideal staff. Many people enjoy our restaurant daily. Unfortunately that was a very bad day

The only meal served here is roasted chicken, and it's delicious. Your choices are basically the amount of chicken and whether your side is fried potatoes or fried plantains.The chicken was moist and tender, and the spices perfect - it doesn't need condiments or any accompaniments. The fried plantains were fresh out of the fryer.

Had the ceviche which had a unique twist with shoestring potatoes on top. Found it to be a bit tangy. Needed crackers to counter it. Lobster Mac and cheese was good. Wasnât sure I would like plantains on top, but wasnât bad. Pineapple juice was amazing!!!
