The guide book labels this as a pricy but first cabin restaurant. They are right on both counts. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the prices are a bit elevated. The only poblem I had is that the tables have a cross supporting bar between the legs that really constrains both how close you can sit to the table and where you can put your legs. It was not comfortable, but I survived and it did not significantly detract from the fine food. We did not order a starter so they provided a complementary small dish of salsa-like dip and some baked bread bits. We did order soups, a tomato soup with big tomato bits in it (R259) and a very good borscht (R258), with a large chunk of beef in it. We got a nice heavy bread roll to soak up the last bits of soup (R15). I got a grilled pork hunk (R530) and a potato, cuke and tomato side (they call it a garnish but it is the separate veggies that you donât pay for most places but always seem to do at fancy restaurants) (R94). We both got a tea which was served at the end of the meal with about 200 ml of honey. Putting all that honey in the tea made it a nice desert drink. All in all, an excellent place and an excellent dinner.

Me and my friend were there just for a tea. But we loved it! Great space and atmosphere. We checked the burger menu, it has big choice for anyone - meat, chicken or vege lovers. Definitely will be back.

Bar Grenki - is a place with a great atmosphere. The perfect combination of price and quality. Great selection of top-quality meat cooked on the grill. Large variety of draught and bottled Beer at good prices. Friendly and sociable staff.

For the first time I went to Grenki in September, and I'm still going there! The staff Is extremely nice and professional, the food and drinks are just awesome. Homemade alcoholic beverages are great. I like the atmosphere. Many foreign and Russian students as well and everyone is having fun. I strongly recommend this Bar. Come and have fun at Grenki!!
