Went there for Christmas lunch and the place wasn't crowded but still busy. It took the waiters a while to take the orders, as they were really not organized, but it's forgivable, that day.What was disappointing, we ordered Filet Steak and they brought us sirloin. We made them aware, and the only thing was:" Oops, sorry, the chef run out of Filet yesterday"... this implies they knew hat before for sure and could have told us before ordering. We didn't get any discount, just a shot of grappa as apology (we don't drink alkohol)

This is a lovely spot to meet up for lunch with various members of our party. The two boys appreciated the big wooden playhouse - they only came back to the table to have their food and drink. No complaints about the food, service can be a bit slow but then they are very busy on the sun terrace on a sunny day! The views are lovely and we very much liked their two bird feeders which attracted all kinds of birds.

We were guests on two occasions at this charming hotel, so breakfast and dinner were included as part of our tour package.Breakfast was always a huge, varied spread of cereals, fruits, yogurts, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, high quality teas, juices, etc. Dinner for us was included each evening, and the 3-course meals consisted of large portions. The salad buffet was filling on its own; but then theyâd serve a Primi of soup or generous pile of pasta, followed by a Secondi of meat slabs with potatoes and root vegetables, and finished with a generous Dolci such as ice cream. Wine was always available. Hubs and I would usually be full after the Primi. Everything was hearty, fresh, and full of REAL flavor unlike the U.S.âs conventionally grown and raised produce and meats.Staff did their utmost to keep us happy and well-fed. They did their jobs with pride and if there's one aspect I miss about Alta Badia (besides the food), it's the people at Ustaria Posta.

We have been coming to this mountain lodge for lunch ever since it opened several year ago. The husband and wife team, completed with family and children and local helpers, offers extremely tasty Italian and Tirolean dishes, all lovingly prepared fresh and with the best ingredients. Simple spaggetti ragu or home made ravioli in sage butter become masterpieces for the exhausted skier. In winter you can reacht the place on skis only, in Summer you can hike up the moutaint to 1900 m over sealevel for pure air and exquisite food!

Fairly old Rifugio located against one of the more beautiful Dolomite peaks. We hiked from around San Cassiano and it was a welcome sight for our lunch. We sat outside to soak in the sun and the awesome views. The food itself was mediocre and my Kaiserschmarren was not up to standard. The server forgot my beer order and I had to remind her after other tables were getting their beer/wine orders and we were not. She later apologized.

We were going regular to Ciablun during last 2 years and we were happy with authentic Ladin food, quite simple though, for fair prices. This year this agriturismo decided to promote itself to a kind of "fine dining place" with unique menu. It became a strange mix of the mountain hut and restaurant in the basement. Sadly, the new format lost the atmosphere we appreciated so much. We felt everything around us became a fake: due to the advertisement (we have heard several times from our host: if you want to get the REAL Ladin dishes...) the place became more popular while management increased the prices and removed some typical Ladin dishes from menu. We were treated in a cold way, the waiters were pretending to be professional, but the service was very lengthy. I feel that it is unfair to tell to the tourist that this is the only place in La Val serving authentic Ladin dishes when there are plenty next to the centre.Thank you for visiting again on our farm.And also thank you for your review. All the reviews, even if negative, may be constructive for us.We are very sorry that this year our kitchen, as our "agristurismo" is not to your liking. However, we would like to make some clarification.We have done works on our farm, including also the new kitchen for the restaurant. A very important work, even to be able to work better. We also renovated the bar and the restaurant entrance. The dining room has remained identical to the first.As for the Ladin dishes, on our menu we have added dishes, though all the dishes were last year there again this year. This means that we continue to offer dishes of Ladin and Tyrolean cuisine.The biggest problem for you will be the price increase (of ⬠1.00 per dish) that seems to us more than fair. We too have costs (staff, electricity ... etc.) Which also increase for us. A 5-course tasting menu at the price of 25.00 ⬠seems okei and fair.We are sure that besides us there are other good restaurants that offer Ladin cuisine. And getting compliments and good reviews from many other guests we also hope to join them.

we visited here for the second time in as many years- it is now an annual tradition. The second time did not disappoint. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious and the staff is very friendly. Definitely come hungry!!

We have been at Lee last week with friends from the UK.We are Italian and can tell you that rarely these days we come across restaurants that are so dedicated to genuine, honest and yet incredibly appetizing food. The Rifugio has been passed on from generations to generations: it is a simple place as it used to be in the mountains and you feel a family atmosphere as soon as you walk on the terrace that boosts amazing views. Even better: beyond superb ingredients the chef is also tops and you are looked after informally and yet with genuine care by a very friendly staff.In essence this is a genuine family business that displays passion for what they do and a commitment to provide guest with a memorable genuine experience.Highly recommended both in winter (ski in - ski out) and summer (easy walk or cable car). Enjoy!

Let's start by saying that after 2pm (not even in peak summer season) there is no possibilities to order warm dishes , but the pleasant staff /the best thing of the structure offered to make some cured meats and cheese trays. Good quality but portions delicate even for Milan standard, interstingly the prices are well aligned with big cities.They also have a small shop inside selling cured hams at ridicolus prices.Good location but I will not return

Domestic atmosphere, local "Ladin" cuisine. Meals done from meat and vegetable produced on the farm. We realy enjoyed local cuisine.In addition to realy good meals is unforgettable view on San Vigilio. Prices are affordable. We will come back again.
