I happened to be in area, rain had started , so I thought , where can I find somewhere nice for a quick bowl of soup and get out of rain.Read very appealing tasting menu in window and went in.Iam SO glad I did. Very cheerful guy (Frank , I think was his name ) welcomed me, and told me to take a seat (anywhere I wanted,,,,, that alone was a plus point for me, as sometimes waiters do not give you a choice , despite if place is quiet or not)Menu , choices, and cost were all excellent. The soup I have to say, was delicious !!!! ...Borscht served with lovely whole meal , soft bread, soft butter( with fab sprinkled sea salt over it )I loved my visit here, and I cant wait to bring friends back with me the next time to try more of the offerings on the menu.In summary, a warm welcoming place, with great food and staff.!!!!.

Little Hanoi

The first authentic Vietnamese Street Food outlet in Scotland. Serving dishes that visitors to Ha Noi would find on the streets of this lovely city. We strive to create the true authentic tastes of Ha noi.

We've been several times now, we love the variety on the menu. The food is well prepared, so fresh and such amazing flavours. The guys who run this place really are to be commended for their authentic Vietnamese food. We've taken friends here too and could not recommended highly enough! It's the kind of place you'd walk by and not notice, or think it was a takeaway, but we love it. I'm really fussy and there's things I cannot eat so it's great to know exactly what's going in the food. Our friend is gluten free and he was fine with food, wasn't ill afterwards. Would definitely recommend for ones looking for healthy eating options and gluten free or other food intolerances too.Les, thanks for the review. I'm very glad your friend found the food to his liking. Gluten intolerance is difficult. Please come again and we will be happy to cook for you and your friends again. Regards

Went here because I was told it recently won the cafe of the year!! Don’t know who was judging that!! Food was average at best and customer service left a lot to be desired spent more time talking me to the person behind me, everything felt like an effort!! Maybe the staff should be retrained in customer service and not have all the food swimming in grease!! What a wasted trip had better out a snack van!

I’ve used this chippy for as many years as I can remember as it was always the best, but the last few times I’ve eaten in here it’s been nowhere near the usual quality, although the fish is freshly cooked for you and always delicious the chips were absolutely disgusting, they were soggy and had little black bits stuck to them as if they had been cooked in dirty oil,it’s also not the usual guy frying,I think it his son, hope he comes back soon!!!
