Unfortunately we have spend one of our evenings at this restaurant. We have seen the reviews and the food was a bad surprise! Plates with low quality and fantasy, extremely expensive. But the main problem was the staffs' behavior. They were literary "throwing" the plates on the table, without saying nothing. At 10.00 in the night the table besides us was reserved by an Italian family of 8 persons with 3 babies (1-3 years old!!!) that they were screaming with their parents all the time. Suddenly from the other tables people were talking loudly in an effort to cover all the noise of this table! When we called the manager to complain about the situation he told us "the children are the future of Italy!!!) with an aggressive way and he told us to leave the place if we didn't like it!!!!!!!

We were drawn in when we walked by the outdoor facing kitchen and saw the cook humming melodies as she prepped the eveningâs meals. The food reflected the love put into it. We walked by this place many times and were happy we decided to stop in and give it a try.

The gastronomic highlight was surprisingly a regional spaghetti bolognese. Langoustine were slightly overdone for my taste, but the flavour was sweet and delightful. LâIncanto commands an amazing location: perched at the very top of Furore before passing into Agerola; the views across the Gulf of Salerno are unrivaled.Unfortunately the food did not measure up. It proved to be adequate, unimaginative, and a bit overpriced. It seems that location does not come cheap in this part of Furore!All could have been forgiven were it not for the ineffective and shoddy service. The night we were there, the dining room was staffed by 3 servers: the two brothers whose family owns the restaurant and attached hotel and one helper (who mostly bussed tables). Somehow our watching them across the dining room on their mobile phones (on multiple occasions) set the wrong tone. After the initial order, we were never asked if we needed anything else (like more water) or if our food was good. And getting the check was quite the ordeal. Owners of a business should do a better job than this - especially the younger brother who seemed generally unhappy with his work.It felt like we were outsiders rather than guests. Perhaps thatâs why we saw a number of locals dining at LâIncanto. Normally I find that a positive sign (as the food is fairly priced and of excellent quality); LâIncanto proved the exception to that rule.

Weâve been around Italy for almost a month eating pizza every day and this is the BEST!! You need to come here, it is a quiet place. We never thought this place would have such an amazing pizza, but a local friend recommend it to us. It is a family restaurant with good prices and the waiters are very nice as well. Gigino, the owner, makes every pizza himself. The pizzas are only available in the evening though.

We had a nice group dinner here (about 10 people) and the staff was great. They served the courses at a good pace, everything was tasty (I really enjoyed the carpacio fish appetizers) and it was overall a great evening. We sat at tables next to the road, but there is more seating down off "the cliff" with sea views.Dear, thank you very much for the nice review.I remember you, we created a tasting menu together.Thank you for having mentioned the terrace closest to the sea, unfortunately I could not settle on that terrace, because it is reserved only for 2-person tables.I'll wait for you soon.
