I have been going to "Chez Pierina" since 30 years ago, when it was run by Pierina. It's still THE place where you can eat all year around in Chamois, during the los season you will find the local construction workers eating lunch, while all the other establishments are closed for season vacation. This time I went back - in low season - and I had a wonderful lunch in open air, in front of the open valley panorama: polenta concia and chamois. The only reason why I gave only 4 stars is that the chamois was perhaps frozen and not fresh cut.

Excellent dinner with typical cuisine from Val d'Aosta, and homemade desserts. Friendly atmosphere , picturesque settings and traditional furniture. Pet and family friendly.

Situated on the Frachey(C11) pistes, we visited a couple of times for pasta and burgers. Very friendly welcome and quality food and drink. In my opinion the best mountain bar on the monterossa network, and I have been to a few! Quite small inside but a hidden gem, and plenty of deckchairs outside when the sun comes out! Great for coffee or lunch, and a nice fire inside to warm up on those cold days.....highly recommended(particularly the pasta dishes!)

This is what I call 'real' local cuisine and even as a family with Italian blood running in our veins we needed to adjust our expectations. It is what some reviewer said as 'too authentic'. You really need to like local cuisine to enjoy it.But once we got in the swing of it, it was really good. Food was a bit unfamiliar but we got stuck in and came away feeling satiated, having tried out new dishes as well, and drank some lovely wine. Raclette was a good choice for those less adventurous. We had a form of sgroppino (lemon sorbet, vodka) which was wicked and complimentary grappa too.

In a new youthful, light, alpine environment in one day you can try a piece of cake while surfing the net, enjoy a cool aperitif outside admiring the flower gardens and the apse of the ancient church as well as sample the natural cuisine with local produc
We really did not know where to eat and we wished to eat early. We found the café on the corner and decided we would try it as it was one of the few that were opening up. The food did not disappoint and we found the prices for 2 main meals with out dessert and wine good at â¬37.
