This place resembles the region completely - like the time has stopped and one is experiencing the living history of the region. The service is very friendly, competent, not so fast and expertise, but it is not important here. We had beautiful fresh fish - red mullet 3 peace for 27 euro, stuffed calamari with feta cheese for 13 euro and spaghetti with tomato sauce for 7 euro. The fish was very fresh, the calamari delicious and the spaghetti, according to my daughter - ever best. The place is next to the port nice view to the water and has a very, very specific, warm atmosphere. The wifi is very fast - unusual for the region. They have no meat in the menu.

We bought 5 pieces of fish not 5 main dishes.. 2 salads, 2 fried potatoes, 1 savory appetizer, 2 retsinas and one ouzo and paid 90 euro. Absolute rip off... We had been there on 2 other occasions and paid no more than 30 euros and all of a sudden for much less food 3 times as much... The potatoes were from pre fried frozen packets not fresh as they claim... The tavern as a whole is a cheap eats place that charges fine dining prices. It seamed like they wanted to make their days takings from 1 table.... Shame Shame Shame......
