We booked well in advance as the place is super popular with the locals. We do not speak Italian but sent a Facebook messenger booking request in google-translate Italian and got the confirmation of our reservation in no time and without any problems. When we arrived, it was obvious that we were the only foreigners / English speakers in the room as the owners took extra care of us making sure we were all right and understood the Italian menu. Amazing hospitality from the moment we entered the restaurant made it one of the best dining experiences of our life! The food is amazing, the atmosphere wonderful, you feel welcome and comfortable and want to spend the entire evening there. Most guests go for an appetizer trolley as their first course, then you move onto the main â the choice of dishes is wonderfully limited â which implies everything is fresh and made to order! Everything we tasted as super delicious, the marinated onions which were part of the appetizer were the best I had in my life! The wine list is fine and we enjoyed a bottle of rich and fruity red with our meal. There is nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Highly recommended for food, service and ambiance. The best Italian dining experience in so far for us!

L'altra sera io e mio marito ci siamo recati in questo locale situato sulla via principale di Valmadonna. Locale molto carino, cucina locale ed innovativa. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo salmone marinato nel tè, degli ottimi agnolotti all'alessandrina con lo stufato e una squisita guancia di vitello cotta a bassa temperatura con un tortino di patate al rosmarino. Di dolce millefoglie (buona) e una degustazione di meringhe (buone). Conto giusto. Da provare.

Quello che mancava a Valenza,alta qualità con ampia scelta di vini.Sono capitata nella serata a tema di pesce e posso dire che era davvero super e freschissimo. Arredamento carino e azzeccato, personale gentile disponibile.In allegato le foto dei piatti.

Abbiamo appena preso un aperitivo, alle 18.00, in questo bar poco accogliente e non troppo pulito. I tavoli fuori spogli e la zona "dehors" misera e un pò squallida.Abbiamo ordinato semplici crodini e alla vista del cibo portato al tavolo (una ciotolina di patatine, una micro ciotolina di salatini secchi confezionati e un'altra micro ciotolina di noccioline... x 5 persone!) Quindi abbiamo chiesto qualche pizzetta o focaccina e ci è stato risposto che non c'erano. Quindi ci siamo accontentati di questi stuzzichini tristissimi. Un paio di ore dopo un buffet bene imbandito regnava nella sala interna: miracolo!!! E cibo fu! Ma noi ormai, infinitamente delusi dal cibo confezionato propostoci, ci siamo alzati ed allontanati con la speranza di rifarci in un prossimo e vero aperitivo... in un altro bar!Sigh...

Fermato per caso in questo baretto per un panino veloce , apprna entrato vedo i clienti seduti che mangiavano dei piatti da rimanere a bocca asciutta , mi siedo e ordino subito un fritto misto , risultato eccellente !!!!

In un borgo appartato sul monte (o collina) ci troviamo in una location da vero castello medioevale, molto ben tenuto e reso allegro dai colori, dalle forme e dalla vasca con fontane e grandi pesci che quasi si scavalca per entrare ; l'interno a volte basse è suggestivo ed arredato con gusto, con enfasi sui disegni e stemmi dell'epoca ; tavoli ben distanziati in piccole sale laterali comunicanti e servizio attento anche se i tempi, come detto e scritto, non sono troppo rapidi ; si può comunque parlare sottovoce con ottima e variata musica di sottofondo ; il menù di mare scelto da noi inizia con una ricca porzione di salmone marinato di prima qualità e ben presentato ; poi risotto ai frutti di mare riuscito alla perfezione ed ancora degli involtini di spada molto gustosi ; la torta del castello è pure molto buona ed alla fine la soddisfazione per questo pranzo, è piena.

we ate at Achille all days when we were in Valenza, some of the days we had lunch and dinner both, very friendly staff, the kitchen menu changes everyday and they always offered something vegetarian, the minestrone soup was very comforting almost home cooked, the foccacia was superb and everything we ate was good quality and good taste. a value for money place, always a good buzz and open until late at night. go to place if visiting Valenza

We were obviously just passing through, yet the staff were so welcoming. Aperitivo almost before we sat down. Then,surprise, the chef wanders over and chats, jokes, recommends, oh and cooks delicious food. We ended having an in depth conversation on the risotto rice! Carnoroli it was from the po valley, and excellent.Pizza base to die for too.I would travel to go again, and might well do so.
