Overlooking the port this is an ideal place to sit and relax over some wonderful food. Most welcoming by the staff and look after us during our meal. With not being able to speak too much French the staff were most helpful. The food was excellent and the pudding were really delicious. There is a need to book in advance as it get very busy particularly in the summer.

The sardines? (maquereux) were good but the mussels in Moules mariniere were of poor quality: small, very many had not opened at all. Waitress not trained at all, rest of staff could not care less. One dinner, a few days later we tried to get a glass of wine on the terrasse during openig hours but "they had stopped serving on the (empty) terrasse

While the location overlooking the harbor is magnificent, and the meals were very nicely prepared and presented, the staff is very snooty and pretentious. Perhaps they are trying to emulate the adjacent Michelin noted establishment. The waitress tried hard to upsell, and seemed disappointed when the order was not expansive enough.

Small, intimate restuarant on the marina serving a variety of foods. Best, fresh Mussels we have ever eaten. Friendly waiter, English menu and view overlooking the port. Unless you have a big appetite, order the smaller plate of mussels. If you enjoy Mussels this is the place for you!!!!

This restaurant has always been at the "pretty basic" end of the scale: Galettes, Crocque Monsieur, etc, etc. Good tasty food, relatively cheap and no pretensions. It has clearly undergone a transformation under new management/ ownership. The menu is much more sophisticated but the ambiance still relaxed and the service good. We liked it as it was but like this make-over even better. If you have visited before this year come back and try the new version, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. It is, of course, rather more expensive than it was but still mid-range.

Cote Plage

We visited this restaurant in July. We are a family of five visiting from Ireland. When we arrived, there were very few customers. No sign of a Maitre’d. So we took an empty table overlooking the sea.The waitress finally came over and greeted us and Took our order. She brought our drinks and we settled down happily to enjoy what “we assumed” would be a pleasant evening.A large party of French people arrived and there was much commotion and loud voicesAnd moving of chairs and tables!Suddenly the Owner appeared and put her hand down aggressively on our table and Shouted at us “did we have a reservation?”We were totally embarrassed and said no, she started abusing us verbally,Telling us we had taken the “Best” table and it had been reserved. There was no sign and the waitress had not mentioned it?Our food arrived just then, so she said a few cross words to the waitress and walked offWith an angry face.We asked the waitress was it ok. And she said it’s fine, pay no attention to her.We ate our meal in total silence. My teenagers were shocked and embarrassed. The meal was ruined. The food was excellent but it was too late to improve the evening. My husband got up paid the bill and we left quickly! To make matters worse, the French people whose table we had “allegedly” taken were speaking about us at the top of their voices, during the meal and calling us“rude and ignorant English” We have been to France nearly every year since our children wereYoung and had no experiences apart from good ones.We will never visit this part of France again.SHAME ON YOU MADAMSuggestion: if you want to Reserve tables, it might be a good idea to buy a few signs,Or inform your staff better.I have read other reviews this year from French customers who had similar experiences with the Owner. The restaurant changed hands in 2018.Not for The Best I Fear!
