Food was great. Out service was even better! Our server brooke made sure our drinks stayed filled and we got everything we wanted and needed! I will be back!
The food was quite delicious! An amazing "homemade" hamburger for her, white beans and rice plate lunch for me. Add two drinks. All under $11! HOWEVER, the seats were filthy, tables hadn't been wiped down, several of the soda machine taps were empty. When the front is like this, it definitely creeps me out as to what the kitchen looks like!

Mike Anderson's was established over 3 decades ago and is famous for serving fresh South Louisiana Seafood. While Mike Anderson's Gonzales is known for providing excellent service, it is the consistency of the delicious food that truly sets us apart. Whet
I love the food! Each time I visit here I receive a pleasant experience! Iâm always one to select seafood and the fried catfish, fried oysters, fried shrimp, and hush puppies with a stuffed potato were delicious. The next day, I missed breakfast but was able to order a shrimp poboy with fries. True Louisiana flavor! I also ordered bread pudding and was surprised about the portion size. It was more than I expected and I enjoyed every bite.
It was really good. Charlie had grilled steak with onions and mushrooms. I had boiled crawfish. Very good. Will definitely be back. Will tell everyone about it.

Located south of Baton Rouge minutes from Blue Bayou Water Park. Off I-10 Exit 166.
Been there twice recently, good food & hospitality. Spicy pasta dish, great shrimp/catfish/crawfish. And the seasonal smoked turkey is "just right" - lightly smoked & juicy.

The Bread Pudding is made fresh every day by the owners 72 year old mother .... It is worth the trip!!! Shrimp were great and steak okay. Her plate: Shrimp were great and the Oysters okay.

In town from Florida, craved seafood, 9 of us, lots of poboys which were amazing, had a duo, I had a trio, everything was perfect. And Lexi was an amazing server. Fun. Attentive. Took perfect care of all of us!

We tried this restaurant on Sunday May 26th, 2019 with my mother, daughter and her friend. We enjoyed our appetizer (alligator), the trout and our chocolate mousse. Our server was very responsive and gave us service very quickly. I can't remember his name unfortunately. I would visit again.

Went out to eat dinner and the food was not great. We got charbroiled oysters and it felt like I was eating a ball of cheese not oysters. We also got a shrimp poboy which was extremely small and had terrible fries. Way too overpriced for its quality. I got crab cakes which was also not great. They put this white sauce on top making it very sour, nasty! They should learn how to make romalade sauce and top it with that instead. Our waitress Susan was great though. Made this place bearable. Do not recommend.

Our family of 12 met to celebrate my 67th birthday with our family. Sammyâs has such a variety of food on the menu that any age can find something to like. Workers are friendly & act professional. Always checking to see what else we needed. Since I didnât want a cake to eat on all week everyone ordered the dessert that they wanted. I got the White Chocolate Blueberry Bread Pudding. So yummy
