Very nice gourmet Italian in a clean, modern setting. The atmosphere was wonderful in this locally owned classy restaurant. It's on, Bonampak, the main road, right near the exit getting off the Hotel Zone, across from Superama Walmart Grocery and Starbucks. You can go into the downtown but not venture too far in. American tourists will love this. They have wait staff that speaks excellent English. Prices are great and the food was amazing. Also a private dining room for about 10 or so. Romantic, easy street parking.

The place at a first sight , looks like a convenient store (which actually is) , then you take a rolling stair to the top, and you enter a gorgeous palapa with an amazing view. The service is outstanding, Caribbean rice is the most amazing rice I ever tasted. I tried fish ceviche, fresh food, delicious. A good clamato with beer on the side, and a couple of oysters, made our visit worth coming back soon .

Puerto santo is a one of the best restaurants near Puerto Juarez if you are in to a nice upscale area with a laid back feel and cold beer. I recommend you try hoja Santa but would like to clarify that it's not for everybody. Service is ok and prices are not to bad if you compare them to similar establishments

We had an excellent experience. Fresh seafood, good cocktails and very friendly service. Lobster, huge shrimp, fresh redfish, crab, oysters and more. Great view of the ocean, good place for drinks and happy hour. Conveniently located near downtown on the beach. Convenience store downstairs for drinks and snacks to go. Fresh seafood available to go as well. Great restaurant. Would highly recommend!

Thank you Liff Sabah for your great hospitality for accommodating our group of 10 at the last minute, your team was excellent and exceeded all of our expectations this is our 4th time to the restraunt. A must try is the beet appetizer, squid, and of course the fresh warm bread with all of the flavorful spreads, i had the salmon and my wife had the shrimp both were outstanding, the rest of the group had lamb and steaks that looked great, dont forget about the after dinner tequila shots. Thanks to Montemar restraunt for a great night.¡Hi! El Puerto Clam House used to be located downtown, but moved about a year ago so it is closer to where people liveâ¦I wished that I lived nearby. Unfortunately, it is necessary to take a cab there, rather than the public bus from the hotel zone. The seafood and fish are very fresh and I enjoyed the paella whereas my husband enjoyed the fish with garlic sauce. The paella was about 300 pesos and large, so I ended up taking some home. .My favorite drink is a mango margarita, with the small bottle of beer in it. Complimentary chips and a trio of sauces are served as well.

Enjoyed my meal just a short walk from my Airbnb. Generous portion of ceviche which was excellent , I was pretty full after the that and the complementary chips when my entree, grilled salmon arrived. Smaller than I expected with a side of generic house salad. But the salmon.. wow.. exploded with flavor and the yogurt dip it came with complemented it well. Perfectly cooked and juicy with crispy skin. I would go back just for that! If the side had been a bit more interesting I would have given it a five star.

I've never experienced help from general managers in a food place . But, Edwin, the general manager and Captain Paulina, welcomed us since it was our 1st visit!! Cindy was very helpful, she took her time to explain the large variety of foods and dessert. Food was so great!!! I recommend Flamingos restaurant to everybody!!
