Following in from a disappointing evening at the venue next door we had a turn around experience here. Very welcoming and engaging with a fantastic menu and extensive wine selection which was top end but still something for everyone. The prawns and halloumi were very special but nothing was disappointing. A really lovely evening with water views watching our heron catch his dinner from the jetty! Highly recommended Thank you rockdoc000 for taking the time to write your review of Rickys. It is pleasing to hear you enjoyed your experience and found the staff welcoming and engaging. Group of 4 friends had the most enjoyable dinner here. Service was beyond excellent (the lady was wonderfully informative with dishes and recommendations) and the "Seachange" scottish (?) guy was fun, friendly and efficient with the wines & cocktails. Quality of food & portions was great. Desserts were enough to top off the evening without being belly-ached full. Delicious food plus fabulous friendly service equals a 10 out of 10 for me!

Beautiful view and delicious fresh fish n chips, delicious calamari as well, donât like the side salad of mint and onion it doesnât work with fish n chips or anything for that matter, very strange combination but you can just leave that. Great relaxed atmosphere. Watch the birds and pelicans gather around. Highly recommend.

Overall a poor experience and would not recommend Sails to anyone. My starter of pork and scallops consisted of thin slices of scallops, some pork and sugar concoction (which i found difficult to still even relate to pork) and a chunk of pineapple. This dish simply did not work together and for the price when I order scallops I expect a scallop or two not a couple of stingy slices. My main of Morton bay bugs, presented well and was looking forward to digging in to that delicious looking bug. First bite brought only disappointment and it did not improve. The sauce smothering the bugs was so overwhelming and salty that any flavour of the bug itself was removed. The sauce should accompany the focus of the dish not completely overwhelm it. Overall the main was a very expensive bit of sauce.My desert of deconstructed cheesecake was the only good dish of the evening. Everything worked on this plate but unfortunately could not make up for the first two dishes.Some upsides to the experience, the venue was nice, the staff were pleasant and the wine menu extensive. However, the people on the table next to my wife and I, one of which we were later told was the owner, made the experience quite uncomfortable.Having now spent my vaccaction in Noosa a few times and eaten at quite a few of the restaurants, ranging from Locale to Indian at Noosa Junction, Sails is at the bottom of the list of places I would recommend.

We had been trying to organize a breakfast cruise for a hens weekend. Initially the contact form on the website kept coming up with an error so I emailed them direct enquiring about costs, times etc. The response I received was a kind of brush off to the website issue. The response also said they would make a booking and to contact them with my credit card details, not actually answering my questions. I replied requesting the information before I would put any money down. Over a week passed with no reply so I took to Facebook and sent a message via social media. Instead of replying with information they "reacted" with a thumbs up. I sent another message via Facebook advising I had no response. I then received an email providing costs which were more expensive than advertised on their website. Do not trust the information on their website is correct or that you will get responses quicklyHi there,I'd like to apologize for this human error. We've been going through some staff changes in the last few months and it's been a bit challenging to keep up with the very complex booking system we have in place. I've recently come on board to help out and I'd love to make it up to you, if we could. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we can chat a bit more. If you visit Noosa and love fine food this is the place. Located on the north eastern end of Hastings street in the heart of the food and shopping district. Incredible food, great new owners and hosts and being from Tasmania know how to cook and serve seafood! To put them to the test for the land lovers, tried the steak and every bite was mouthwatering. Add this place to the list of must do! Great selection of wine, lovely palette cleansing beverage to start your wonderful food experience. I have been to this Seafood cafe and takeout several times now and found the food to be consistently fresh and plenty of it. Each time I have gone there the food ordered has been cooked while you wait....no chips served that have been left warming for ages!I personally have found the place always looks clean and fresh. In my opinion this cafe/take out gets a big tick, and so do the staff who go out of their way to be friendly.Situated near to Coles In the shopping centre, it's very convenient to pop in there for last minute bits and pieces while you wait.
