We spent the whole day wondering where we could go for dinner and after walking past the restaurant decided this is where we would go. Thankfully they had a table for us that evening and we weren't disappointed. The food was all perfect and very fresh. Will certainly be making a point of going back next time we're in Cornwall.

The Old Lifeboat House has great character and they have used it well to create a really nice dining experience. They offer great service and welcomed our dog to sit quietly under the table. The menu is good with plenty of fish options. The quality, flavours and presentation were fantastic and the Chocolate Affogato to finish - superb. Thoroughly recommend.

Very much a pub that does food from it's interior décor, comfortable and quiet.Food aims high and mainly succeeds in being big flavoured, generous fine dining. Service is friendly and good.Brill with squid ink tagliatelle with crab was a hit, but Monkfish with a kipper velouté was maybe a little too smoked kipper for some tastes.

Firstly they allow dogs.Secondly though busy they provide good service and try and stagger the sittings to give the kitchens a chance. Thirdly the menu is decent, the food is tasty and well presented and in huge portion sizes.Thoroughly recommended.

We had just enjoyed a comic opera at the Minack open air theatre (Princess Ida) and headed in to Penzance with Fish and chips in mind, Frasers was easy to find, had parking available out front and provided top draw service and Dinner for us, we will be back!

Exquisite seafood-focused tasting menu with interesting Japanese influences, but not being gimmicky or fusion-y. It's more than just a "one-man" show now as the chef has staff to handle the front of the house, but Bruce also likes to chat with diners after their meal, which is awesome experience. He's a charming, enthusiastic host, and his energy manifests in all of his dishes.

Ate in Red Lion 3 times whilst on our week to Newlyn on final night husband ordered the fish pie - he found a piece of what looked and felt like pottery in it - when he told the chef she said it was crab shell. My husband said it felt like it had nearly broken his tooth she said âYou poor f***er I wonât charge for itâ - appalling - horrible end to a lovely week

Came here for lunch today and it was delicious, fresh and uncomplicated. We are staying in St. ives On vacation and decided to take a drive to Penzance today as the weather wasnât that pleasant this morning. We were just driving past Mackerel Sky and thought it looked like a great spot. We were not wrong. Great menu, lovely drink selection and Super friendly staff Made us feel welcome and we thoroughly loved all our plates. Made us wish we lived closer. Thanks x

Oh yes this is good - very good indeed. After a day spent largely in an autumnal Cornish downpour, a quick change was followed by dinner in Mousehole. And what a treat it was! They really do make the most of local food at Fore Street - including Newlyn crab in one souffle & Cornish blue cheese in another, local sea bass, hake, and West Country fillet steak. And a sticky toffee pudding that was the equal of any I've ever had. I didn't eat everything I've mentioned here - but I could have done. A terrific cocktails list and a very decent selection of wines by the glass & the bottle, all served with warmth & enthusiasm, made for a memorable meal and a lovely end to our first day down in the far West.
