Metepec (Spanish: (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico and is located directly to the east of the state capital, Toluca, at an altitude of 2,635 metres (8,645 ft) above sea level. The centre of Mexico City lies some 50 km further to the east. The name Metepec comes from Náhuatl meaning hill of the maguey plants. However, it is also known in the Matlatzinca language as "Nepinta-Tuhi" meaning 'people of corn land' and in the Otomi language as "Ntaguada".

Visited this place last Friday, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly service accompanied by a wide selection of seafood plates... very tasty! I had the Tuna ceviche, which I have to say was magnificent, and for second choice I had Taco Baja and a Jamaican shrimp taco , also very good, ending the meal with an amazing Cheesecake ... definitely will come back to continue exploring the menu.. the prices was extremely cheap for the quality of food you get, if you happen to be in the area, make sure to visitVisite el lugar el viernes pasado, y tengo que decir que quede agradablemente sorprendida. El servicio muy amable acompañado con una gran variedad de platillos de mariscos.... muy sabroso!. Pedà el taco baja y taco Jamaica con camarón, también muy bueno, terminando mi comida con un delicioso cheesecake.... definitivamente volverÃa a venir para continuar explorando el menú... Los precios eran demasiado baratos por la calidad de comida que te sirven, si alguna vez pasas por esta área, asegúrate de visitarlos.

It was around 1 pm. for Mexican lunch standarts this is early. place was empty and my moms order of Shrip Quesadilla took for ever. Besides that it was ok but I think the ambiance of Polanco, Mexico City is much better...

Mexican cuisine is one of the most important and most extensive in the world. This restaurant is a seafood restaurant with modern Mexican cuisine that serves mainly their creations that have evolved for many years. The shrimp and lobster tacos are very good. All shellfish cocktails are also a safe bet.Basically the whole menu not only good but unique to this restaurant. The secrets (as is with all seafood) is to choose local fish caught in the wild. Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi are good examples as to what to choose and Sole fish and Maine lobster are NOT a good choice because they are pre frozen. Go with local catch and you can't go wrong.

Excellent restaurant with lots of room for large family gatherings. The owner is excellent and very down to earth and very accommodating. The food for New Years Eve was Excellent as was the service. The selection on the buffet was superb and food quality from appetizers to soup to main course was top notch and had great flavor. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area!
