We walked the 5 minutes it takes from our villa.Fabulous place but we felt that they did not care if we were there or not.No meet and greet - could not make out who were staff and who were customers.Tried to interact with bar man to get a drink or guidance but all we got was a stare - too busy being a cocktail maker to help us.Eventually - after 10 minutes - a staff member and I placed an order for a drink.Not going back despite it being 200 mtrs from villa as the indifference is something we donât pay for

The place was empty when we got to Paxi around 13:00 hours, terribly hungry from the long boat trip from Corfu. We sat in the shade with the boats' port in front of us. Service was efficient and friendly, dishes and drinks were quickly served and we enjoyed a very good meal based on fresh ingredients- vegetables and fish . As time passed, more and more people came in yet the service was impaccable.

Akis is a wonderful restaurant in a premium spot in Lakka harbour, right next to the sea. It is a magical and peaceful setting, especially if you visit for dinner right before the sunset. The food clearly needs improvement, though. While the menu is extensive and imaginative, however the final outcome is not par to the expectations or the (very) expensive prices. We ordered ceviche and the octopus carpacchio with cous cous and lemon (as starters) and for main dishes we ordered the spaghetti with crab and a grilled octopus day special, which was served with liquid potato and a yoghurt sauce topped with cuttlefish ink. We enjoy creative dining a lot and the above descriptions sounded quite creative! However, the ceviche was very bland and clearly lacked pungency (not too much lime, maybe...), the octopus carpaccio was OK, but the lemon sauce had a bit strange taste which didn't quite match, and the most infidifferent of all was the grilled octopus which was ... simply a small piece of grilled octopus, while the liquid potato was a huge disappointment. The spaghetti was very nice and nicely 'al dente' cooked, but you definitely expect a lot more from a 22-euros dish. For all the above, we paid (2 people) 82 Euros (accompanied with a glass of white wine only), which places the restaurant in the (very) expensive side. While service was very efficient and attentive (and the location, as said before, was great) for this amount of money, one would expect far better quality in the food.

Somebody recommended we visit this restaurant so despite the poor trip advisor, we booked to eat here. First impressions is the restaurant is beautiful! Lights ...sea...decking. its gorgeous. The owner was a nice friendly man. Staff is quite pleasant.The menu is pricey and this was yet another restaurant that doesn't really cater for children.We decided to just order mains, bread was bought over (we didnt ask) the owner took our order of mains and said he would bring us somthing special to taste. He bought us over a portion of courgette pie? It was indeed delicious! Just a small square of it on a plate. Husband enjoyed it. I went for seafood linguine ,it was very salty ! And had 2 mussels , 3 prawns and 1 clam. Very very disappointing for 22 euros! Coming from whitstsble and loving seafood , this dish was a disappointment. My husband had tuna spaghetti, it was really really oily. He felt sick most of the night after eating 3 quarters of it. My son had the squid. He said it was ok.Our bill was 122 euros! We was charged 8 euros for bread we didnt ask for (no other restaurant has done this) and we was charged 10 euros for the special started we didnt ask for! Sad to say, this will be our first and last visit, I wouldn't recommend the food. And I would check the bill before leaving.

Lovely friendly taverna with great view of Loggos, right on the waterfront. The food we had was delicious, mussels, greek salad and pork chop. They even bought out some tasty watermelon with our bill. A lovely place to dine in Loggos.

Great spot to spend a day by the beach. We anchored off Benâs having dropped everybody off at the beach. Pre reserved beach beds had been organised and were excellent. Lunch served in an open restaurant overlooking the sea was fine. A limited menu served in a friendly family run manner.Happy to return and spend a day there.Great vibe.

We popped in at lunch after swimming in the sea and we were greeted by lovely staff. We had a selection of appetisers - garlic bread , bruschetta , chips and tzatiki all washed down with a cold beer and cider ! The bread was the best garlic bread I think I have ever eaten !!! The views were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed and chilled lunch time . I bet the main meals are amazing. Recommend.

Visited Mandiâs for a coffee with my family this morning and was struck by the poor service and lack of welcome. The cafe is very basic with very dirty toilets which would be fine if it wasnât for the very unfriendly service that you donât expect on Paxos. On the plus side the cafe has wonderful views of Lakka harbour.
