We went on the recommendation of a friend. The Tinnum location is tucked away behind the main street in a parking lot. But worth looking for! They have a tremendous assortment of fish and prepared dishes. It is part fish store and part restaurant. The casual restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Fish is excellent, selection is excellent and the prices are decent. We also went to the Wenningstedt location which is easier to find as it is located on a corner of the street, and is is also very nice but has slightly less of a selection -- although still very good!

Guess the island has not learned about service yet. After reading in a magazine that this is Sansibars sister we decided to give it a try although the menu doesn't look to spectacular. Even got a booking on a Friday night outside. Upon arrival the service greeted us in a very rude way. When we said we'd like to have a look they said we have to ask for permission. When we said we have a booking outside they said they would give us a nice table inside. So we decided to go and leave our money at Sansibar which has better service and food for the same price. While leaving the manager gave us a rude comment.

No surprise Jorg Muller is keeping a top spot among Sylt's many gourmet places: Far from being cheap (even in Sylt terms), his restaurant keeps the promise and serves excellent gourmet food, presented in very creative ways. The cuisine combines French and German cuisine. This is probably one of the very best places in Sylt to have a really special dinner! The meat dishes were just amazing. As far as fish is concerned, we had the impression that this was not so much the "big love" of Jorg Muller. While still excellent, the fish dishes lacked the creativity of the other dishes. An additional plus point: the excellent service and the amazing selection of wines. If you go there, come with a lot of time and be prepared for a rather large cheque - if so, you are in for a great gourmet experience!

have been there now twice with 8-10 people. grown ups and toddlers. enough space for a chariot, friendly staff with big patience for kids. food good, value good, great view. sitting there inside or on deck and watch the beach and the waves. perfect stop during an afternoon walk, or having breakfast or dinner with family and friends. the variety of home made cakes is not very big but what you get is tasty. anytime again

We were there in February 2016.. It was awesome! It's a little multicultural restaurant in the centre of this amazing island! The food is Mediterranean and the prices are absolutely affordable! The owner is a crazy guy but very polite and courteous.. We were very surprised that the waitress served us in English as well. Altogether.. It was an enjoyable evening and when we come back to Germany we will definitely visit this restaurant again! Greets from the other side of the world to all of them!

Following a recent recommendation, again by my hotel, I went to this place. Please nite that parking is limited. While waiting staff were friendly throughout, the food was only average, at best. The restaurant offers two dinner sittings: 6 and 8 pm. For starters I had chanterelles (very bland) and rösti, which was ok. For mains I ordered trout with sage sauce, potatoes dauphoinse and a salad. If you like bland food- look no further. Unfortunately, to me it's just an average eatery. I will not be back.

Really loved the kitchen&service at Tellerand, very nice team and amazing food, great fish dishes!The dessert was a big surprise - the Easternegg - but also everything else was just delicious! Great place to go with your friends enjoying the nice atmosphere and fresh food!
