Ich bin ein wenig enttäuscht. Ich hatte ein Braumeisterschnitzl und das war einfach nur 0815-Convenience-Food. Definitiv kein hausgemachtes Schnitzel. Die zugehörigen Bratkartoffeln waren auch nichts besonderes und waren recht langweilig. Der Salat war ebenso langweilig und passte ins Geamtbild.Für einen Samstag, wo das Restaurant zwar nicht extrem voll, aber auch nicht leer war, ist ein einziger Kellner defintiv zu wenig und so waren die Wartezeiten entsprechend lang.Alles in allem fand ich persönlich es recht enttäuschend.

My husband, two children and I had dinner at Olckenturm with my husband's German colleague and his wife. We were greeted in both German and English by the young waitress, who also gave us English menus and helped to explain the dishes. Initially we were seated outdoors, which was pleasant, though the bugs were a nuisance. However, we moved indoors as a thunderstorm settled in. The restaurant is actually built into part of the old city wall, which was pretty cool. It was not very busy (we were there on a weeknight), and we had very attentive service. Our dinners were all fairly traditional German meals--quite heavy, and a bit saltier than we prefer. More vegetables and some lighter options would have been nice, but I suspect on a cold winter's night, this fare would really hit the spot!All in all, a good experience.

High quality seafood with many choices. I ordered a tomato soup appetizer and it was very good. For an entrée, I ordered the salmon fillet. What came was 3 medium sized salmon fillets. Very tasty and very reasonable prices as well. I recommend this beautiful piece of property to anyone near the area.
