Freundlicher Service. Schönes Ambiente. Es gab einen Gruà aus der Küche. Da ich keinen Fisch esse und deshalb verzichten wollte, hat man mir unaufgefordert eine vegetarische Variante angeboten. Wir hatten insgesamt zweimal Fisch, einmal Gulasch und einmal mit Steinpilzen gefüllte Teigtaschen. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Empfehlenswert!

Frischer kann man die Sylter Miesmuscheln nicht essen! Sie kommen 5 Meter entfernt aus dem Muschelkutter. Der kroatische Koch bereitet sie auf unterschiedliche Weise ... und alles schmeckt perfekt! Klar es gibt auch noch andere Sachen. Aber die sind etwas zu teuer, dafür, dass man in einer Bretter-Bude mit Plastikvorhang an der Kaimauer sitzt. Ich empfehle Muscheln, Muscheln, Muscheln. Von mir aus jeden Tag.

The isse which suffers ALL restaurants I visited in Sylt is the German opnly menu so it is more diffult to go for the right selection. In fact I order a dish of mussels with ... speck which is not exactly what I intend for a seafood combo. Anyway this was my fault: the restaurant looks ok and I would recommend it: informal with kind people service. No credit card accepted )too often in gernamny :( )

This is the golf club restaurant but part of the 5 star Budersand Hotel complex and performing to a 5 star standard. It offers a limited menu but has specials (outstanding entrecote steak perfectly cooked) and special day menus. I can only say that if all golf club dining rooms got even half way to this standard of food and service then we would all be better off. Charming staff, many of them new as this was the start of their summer season and a delight to experience. We ate their twice in the week and were not disappointed. A TIP.....in the summer book in advance. It is rightly popular and busy as it is not confined to people just playing golf and Hornum is a big holiday home centre so people come there to eat in the evening from 6:00pm onwardsDear Strönholt Guest,Thank you very much for your valuable comments about our Restaurant on top of the dune, our Strönholt. We have been to this restaurant after a short trip via bus to Hörnum. It looked nice from the outside so we decided to give it a try. There is an outside sitting area with wicker basket chairs as well as a roofed area where it is allowed to smoke as it is outside. If you don't like the smoke, get in.The interior looked nice, similar than other places on Sylt. All looked well maintained, the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis.We had a "Currywurst" and fries each. The servings were very big for a relatively low price of 6,90 â¬. It was good, too much for us as we thought it would be smaller. Drink prices were a little higher but low compared to other restaurants in Sylt.Service was ok, didn't say that much and had a sense of dry humor. :)So I recommend for a short snack, however it seems to be full in the evenings.

Guess the island has not learned about service yet. After reading in a magazine that this is Sansibars sister we decided to give it a try although the menu doesn't look to spectacular. Even got a booking on a Friday night outside. Upon arrival the service greeted us in a very rude way. When we said we'd like to have a look they said we have to ask for permission. When we said we have a booking outside they said they would give us a nice table inside. So we decided to go and leave our money at Sansibar which has better service and food for the same price. While leaving the manager gave us a rude comment.
