Hornchurch is a suburban town in the London Borough of Havering, East London, England, 15.2 miles (24.5 km) east-northeast of Charing Cross. Historically an ancient parish in the county of Essex, that became the manor and liberty of Havering, Hornchurch shifted from agriculture to other industries with the growing significance of nearby Romford as a market town and centre of administration. As part of the suburban growth of London in the 20th century, Hornchurch significantly expanded and increased in population, becoming an urban district in 1926, and forming part of Greater London since 1965. It is the location of Queen's Theatre, Havering Sixth Form College and Havering College of Further and Higher Education.

Booked as heard good things. So glad we did. Everyone was so helpful. We shared mushrooms and they are the best I've ever had. Hubby had lamb and I had the beef. Both we very tasty, lovely fresh veg with accompaniments. Afters was cheese cake which hubby was happy with. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely go back. Wish could give 4 and half stars.

I've been meaning to come to The Ranch since seeing it open recently and I'm so glad I finally did! The first thing to note is how amazing the staff were. They were really attentive. One member of staff was constantly cleaning the entire time we were there. Secondly, the food was really good. We ordered a range of food to try to taste a bit of everything. We had the beef sliders, boneless bbq wings, cheese fries, chicken strips, a milkshake and a bubble tea. The plating was lovely and the chef clearly took a lot of care in cooking the food. I would say that some of the food was slight pricey (£13 for the sliders which were only about one or two bites each.) Next time, I would probably order a full burger or the ribs which looked amazing. The decor is really funky and very 'instagramable' with flowers and cowboy patterns. I would definitely recommend The Ranch for a nice, friendly, chilled environment with decent food. Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We hope to see you soon!

Since my last review in June 2016 I have given this fish and chip shop another try and I must say, the last half a dozen times I have tried it, the food has been very good. The chips are so much better than they used to be and the fish is no longer greasy. I will definitely be visiting regularly.

Sadly they normally cook large cod fresh. So even though they have raised proces,i still isued them only to revcieve pre cooked dry cod n chips. For over £10 i want hot fresh food. I will vite with my feet and buy elswhere. The food was no better than supermarket quality. They wont even respond to this comment. Customers deserve better.
