We were the only guest that Sunday evening. Commonly it's not a good sign. But we were welcomed quite affable. The choice is very limited here and there's no written menu, but it's not a problem if you just want to eat some good fish. We had a difficulty with naming the fishes because of languages (my Italian is rather basic as well as waiter's English) so he just showed us raw what we could have cooked. The food was good and the price was quite fair. And although the waiter had forgotten to give us an extractor for the lobster (we were to ask) it was not bad yet.Really bad thing was that he gave us a bottle with cooled tap water instead of mineral (it was billed as bottled water later). And we were also charged for a liter of home wine although did only a half (paying for consumed in fact is rather common practice in Italy so I didn't attach importance to the whole liter he brought when we didn't need so much).Finally we've got a little discount and free limoncello (digestive) but the mess with the drinks killed the feeling.

Donât miss this extraordinary restaurant if you like seafood. We especially enjoyed the mussels appetizer baked with a delicious breadcrumb topping. Favorite pasta was a large pasta, maletagliatta , cooked with shrimp and calamari and a tasty sauce. Everything is fresh and perfectly served. You may need reservations if you wish to sit inside.

This restaurant is excellent, hands down. The staff attempts to speak English, and although it isn't strong, they try hard and it is easy to get along. The risotto di mare is outrageously good. The mozzarella and prosciutto is outrageously good. Do your taste buds a favor and go to dinner at Pizzeria San Carlo.

We had a great time !! The owner suggested us a special local buffalo steak and that was awesome!! All plates looked very genuine and big portions as well!! We stopped in this trattoria for lunch after seeing the castle in Caserta. Wonderful experience. The food was spectacular. The service was friendly and the air conditioning felt wonderful. They had an extensive wine list including wines from Caserta which were very good. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was very helpful and efficient. A great dining experience at a very reasonable price.

The place is essential, and rather small, but the pizza is simply fabulous, certainly the best I had in Caserta. Same for the fried specialties of the area. The price is very convenient, and the people very friendly. A "must go" place.

We had fritta mista, grilled swordfish and grilled calamari with grilled vegetables as a side dish. All were excellent, and the grilled vegetables wereoutstanding. The service was very good, though there was a single over-worked waiter.The restaurant is well patronised by locals - on the night we were there, we were the only tourists - always a good sign.
