I was here on 1st September, I like most of the food here, we ordered gurame goreng, butter chicken, pepes oncom, nasi timbel, Must try:Gurame Goreng (have to order 2, as one fish is very small)Es CendolNice place, it was breezy in the afternoon.

They serve cucumber with Sambal Terasi as appetizer. Very good while waiting for our food. We Tried the Ikan Bakar Bawal, there is green sauce on top and taste like Chili but not spicy. Kang Kong Terasi is average and not spicy too. We also order Sotong Telur Asin which is the salted egg version, different cooking style from what I usually ate. Besides, we also ordered satay at some nearby stall. Tasted average too.

Thereâs nothing really to rave about this restaurant. We preferred the seafood soup better than the fish soup. We also had a plate of fried seafood which is not bad, not oily. We went to the one I think at Batam center. Not very good service, the staff taking our order didnât really get our orders write. As he was writing, donât know why he keep looking elsewhere I have to wave at him to get him to focus back on our ordering. For us, it would be a one time visit not something that will make us wanna go back.

Good food, fresh and tasty. We have chilly crabs, boiled gontong, steam ikan bawal and sambal blachang kangkong. Good home cooked food. Good ambience by the seaside. Check your bill to make sure it is yours before making payment. 1st Night on Batam, and this was round the corner from the Hotel...Lovely building and set up, very clean, although the aircon was seriously cold.But, food and drinks were overall very good...staff were very polite and friendly.Negitoro Maki was good, as was the Gyu Yanagawa and Teriyaki Chicken..plus The Lychee Rantcho. Wasn't fussed on the Dynamite Roll.Short stroll home was a bonus

This bright, clean, modern restaurant is next to the Nagoya Hill shopping mall and easy to access. The staff are cheerful and friendly and speak excellent English. The food is heavenly and very Italian - because the chef and owner is. My truffle fettucine was excellent - cooked al dente and brimming with several suble flavours. The pizza was outstanding, with a light, flaky base. The staff were happy to modify the menu to accommodate our vegetarian requirements. And the wine was superb. Highly recommended.

I ordered black pepper crab, kailan and hotplate tofu. All 3 were yummy and tasted as good as Singapore Chinese restaurant. Bill came out at 454k IDR which is pretty cheap and most important left with a happy stomach.

A group of 10 adults and we arrived at 5.30 pm, ordered Lobsters, prawn, steamed fish, chilli fish, kangkong, fried chicken, egg omelette. gong gong with steamed rice, and drinks - iced tea, coke, coconut for all. The food was served and the seafood fresh, taste okay - rather like home-cook by a new bride, but the service and the interval of the food was so long. Half of the drinks were served, and we waited for another half an hour there was no sign of the other drinks, as well as some of the food ordered. We waited till 7.30 pm total of 2 hours and the food was not totally out and got so frustrated and walked out, telling the cashier to put the tab onto our hotel room. The next day the Manager came knocking to ask for the bill we then realised the restuarant was not owned by Harris Barelang Resort. We went through the items and paid about Rupiah 1 million and fifty thousand so it was about US$65 - i would not say it is expensive but decent. The service and general hygiene needed to be improved.
