This restaurant is a must. If you are on the Amalfi Coast in this area you must have your dinner in this restaurant. It is family run with fun as you’re having your food, the time we went the father and mother were also at the restaurant working, the father sings the night away, What’s the star of the show by far is the food, we had seafood to start and seafood made, the food was delicious from start to finish. The atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful, the scenery is excellent, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous, and actually quite good value considering the quality of food and service. We dined here on a Tuesday evening - you must sit on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The meal was perfect, start to finish. The octopus appetizer was the best fish dish I've ever had in my life - no words can do it justice. Just try it. And everything else we had on the menu was splendid. No further details are warranted - just go! Best meal we had on our two week honeymoon in Italy!

This tiny restaurant is a hefty walk from the city center. The decor makes you feel like you are dining in the owner's home. Enough English spoken to get the main point across, but not fluent. For example we asked if there were any specials other than what was on the menu and the answer was no, but when we saw what the table next to us ordered, it was apparent that there were specials written on a blackboard that we did not see at first, nor could we translate. This was partly our fault for not being more assertive in our request. Owner and staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We had buratta (excellent) eggplant parmasean-delicious, and fish (good, not the best I had while in Italy). For dessert we had pannacotta-thick and creamy-A+ and the house special, also terrific. Dinner was washed down with a pitcher of house white wine. Plates and pitcher were pottery from Veitri Sul Mare, a town we visited the day before. Housemade lemoncello (the best I have had) and mandarincello topped off a wonderful evening.

I've taken groups here multiple times and the entire staff has always been delightful to work with. The kitchen is an efficient, self-running machine - so fun to watch. Chef Giuseppe is kind (no shouting in this kitchen! ;) and sisters Filomena and Fortunata are fun, informative and patient throughout. We like to have a cooking lesson in the morning and then eat what we prepare for lunch. It's such a lovely way to experience the local culture. And as we're rolling gnocchi or stuffing anchovies, we get to see the daily seafood and vegetables come in, watch all the prep and feel like we're party of the whole operation. The food and experience are highly recommended.

The food was spectacular, the view overlooks the east side of positano, and the service (led by Liliana) was outstanding. Melissa (celiac, gluten free) were treated as if we were the most important customers they've ever had. They went out of their way to make changes to plates to make them gluten free, the homemade gf pasta is pictured. All in all it was a perfect experience and one we would highly recommend to you.Thank you, Andrew! Family run restaurant serving high end meals in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay. One of the family picks you up and another drops you off at your hotel. Like most of the more expensive restaurants we visited on the Amalfi Coast, nearly everyone is a tourist - few speaking Italian. One of the four sons is the main chef. We were very pleased with our experience.

Well, except that it can't possibly get any better--at least, not in regard to a culinary experience. The food, the service, the ambience all contributed to a perfect experience. Our reservation was a bit earlier than Italians customarily eat, but we were seated right away by Linda, our very knowledgeable, gracious server (who, along with her sister, Caterina, does much of the restaurant's baking). Linda helped us with our order, and we were soon enjoying a wonderful starter--a fried squash blossom filled with cheese and accompanied with shrimp and fried. zucchini thinly sliced on a mandolin. Delicious. Followed that with mixed grill fish and a dish billed as "Neapolitan lasagna reinvented by the chef." Both were wonderful, but the lasagna was off the charts. Still dreaming about it. Tiramisu, an excellent lemon cake, and coffee rounded it all off. Chef Vito offers cooking classes, and after last night's meal, my wife is ready to sign up.
