Washington is a city in south central Washington County, Utah, United States and is a part of the St. George Metropolitan Area. The area is also known as Utah's Dixie because the Mormon pioneers that settled the St. George area came to the area to raise cotton, which was milled at the cotton mill in Washington. The population was 8,186 at the 2000 census, and 18,761 as of the 2010 Census. Washington is a suburb of St. George, and is the second largest city in Washington County.

At In-N-Out Burger, quality is everything. Stop by to enjoy our menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and shakes. In-N-Out makes fast food the old fashioned way.
Ok, so i have heard so many wonderful things about In-N-Out burgers. How they are the best fast food burger and with that I was dying to try one on my recent visit out west. we go inside and the menu only has three items on it; hamburger, cheeseburger, and double cheeseburger. so i ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a drink. the servers were friendly and since we came at lunch there was a line waiting for food. what i noticed was that the food was expedited in no particular order. the people who ordered after me received their food than people who ordered way ahead of me got theirs. i couldn't figure out what order they were expediting. so i get my food and i am so excited to eat this. take a bit and wow this is it. the burger is thin and boring. the bun is ok but nothing to write home about and i could barely taste the sauce everyone says they love. the fries were great though, freshly cut and not too salty. all in all i was very disappointed, if this is what the best burger in the west taste like i think ill stay with the east burgers.

Fantastic quality and variety of poke, but only open 11-3 M-F. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Humble but spotless surroundings but must -try place for lunch or takeout when in St. George. Despite hours and decor, probably my favorite place in the city

In town for a swim meet and discovered this wonderful coffee shop! Awesome espresso with beans roasted in house. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and we were so happy to find a local business with outstanding coffee. They do offer food and baked goods as well. Highly recommend it to all!

Having been to many restaurants in Utah I dare to say that the Painted Pony St George is the best restaurant I have been to in Utah. Probably the only dissonant is the entrance to the restaurant (you have to go up some stairs located in a kind of deserted shopping ally) but let that dissonant quickly be forgotten once you are upstairs.
The menu is as it should be, 2 pages in total, with plenty of variety. I opted for the Phyllo Baked Brie. Brie can be a little without taste, but the berry compote and the roasted garlic provided with this dish make a nice harmony. Maybe just a little bit too large serving to my liking, it is as it is. My main was the Hanger steak, served in a nice red wine based sauce with broccolini and truffled ruffles. All great, meat cooked to perfection and served sliced already. Forgot to say, whilst waiting for your food they serve a nice basked of French style bred and olive oil to dip it in. All very well prepared and thought off.
Wine list per glass is also big enough, which was good as I was on my own and could not drink a complete bottle. I also notice the staff were continuously polishing the wine glasses to ensure they were not stained, small details but it proofs all is very well managed.
I finished off with a nice desert, a so-called cheese cake tower (it sounds bigger than it actually is). Maybe a little too sweet, probably to satisfy the local taste buds, to be overcome still, it was simply excellent despite the sweetness.

My wife is a vegetarian and she was very pleased with the quality and selections offered to her. My food was equally as appealing and was a large portion. The owners are quite lovely people and they take a great deal of pride in making sure their place is as wonderful to visit as can be.

Irmita's Mexican Grill is is now Angelica's Mexican Grill, and is now open at 101 East ST. George Blvd. We look forward to seeing you at our new location.
Nice atmosphere and personal service. Best of all a simple menu of Mexican favorites, so each one is easy to attend to make to perfection. My wife really enjoyed her beef quesadilla. Frequently a quesadilla is lacking in fill and presentation but hers was toasted to brown perfection, loaded with meat and ample size. My beef burrito was the same - rather large. loaded with meat and done up to perfection. Unfortunately it seems rare for us to find a Mexican restaurant that satisfies us both so well with different selections, so that's another happy stance.

Boy do I wish we had one of these down in Florida. Was in St. George for several days and saw this place while driving around. Did a little research online and after a long day of hiking stopped here for lunch before heading back to the hotel.
Restaurant was clean and service very prompt. I love teriyaki and to find a place that basically caters to teriyaki stir fry healthier lunch option was a god send. I will definitely be stopping in again if I am ever in the area.

We were staying in St. George and the front desk recommended this restaurant in Washington and I'm so glad we went. After a long day of hiking in Zion we decided that we had earned the carnivore pizza. It did take awhile but it was worth it because it was extremely hot, tasty, and filling. While waiting for the pizza we ordered the rig bread which hit the spot and kept us satisfied until the pizza arrived. Downstairs appears to be a little quieter than the upstairs eating area. For the quality of the food I thought the prices were appropriate. If you have an urge for pizza I would definitely consider eating here. If you do save some space for dessert there is a great ice cream store across the street called Rowley's Red Barn.

Viva Chicken is a Peruvian Rotisserie Joint specializing in Polla a la Brasa. Our menu is fresh, flavorful, and packed with inspired recipes that will transport your tastebuds to the streets of Peru. Viva Chicken is not only hip and healthy, it's quick, convenient and a great spot for dine-in or takeout.
Very healthy/fashionable choices - quinoa and kale. But surprisingly they make it all taste really good! The rotisserie chicken is a winner with the combination of sauces they offer. Relatively fast service. One negative - they advertise alcoholic beverages, but was informed that due to...MorePeter, One of our favorite sayings is “Our food is so good you do not need any sauces; but our sauces are so good how can you not use them in our food?” Sounds like you would agree! Starting today, we are serving alcoholic beverages!

It was a busy weekend in St George. Every resturaunt was packed. We decided to grab some grub at Bishop's. Had to wait 15 minute, which wasn't bad. Service was fantastic. Food was awesome. We had the waffles with fruit. Dave's big breakfast - which is an obscene amount of food. Feeds 3 in our family. We had a great time. Love this place.
