It is the principal city of and is included in the Wapakoneta, Ohio Micropolitan S A, which is included in the Lima-Van Wert-Wapakoneta, Ohio CSA. The community is served by the Wapakoneta City School District.

A bit difficult to negotiate the drive- through, especially exiting; but worth the hassle.
Typical old time soft serve ice cream stand, with a boat load of tempting options.
We both had the banana fudge royal sundaes and we were both satisfied with our choice.
Certainly not a health food option, but a great place to indulge a bit.

This is a wonderful addition to Wapakoneta; especially since the other bakery has been closed for so long. Everything is delicious and there are tables to enjoy your freshly made baked goods with coffee.

Visiting Wapak from Buffalo, NY on a Saturday evening. This place was packed! Be prepared to wait...but it was worth it. I highly recommend the pork sliders and the spinach dip! My daughter loved her bison burger; my husband's pizza was delicious. The service is outstanding (a shout out to Amy who was amazing). The only reason I didn't give this restaurant a "5" is due to the excessively long waiting time to be seated (90 minutes!).

This is very close to the Super 8, where we were staying. We wanted a buffet, and it's clearly marked. The restaurant was crowded with locals--a good sign. I had the fish; was delicious--the best food for our entire trip. Service was also good. Definitely recommended and will eat here again if in the neighborhood.

We have been getting cakes from Beth for many years. Everyone lights up when they know it is a Beth cake. Makes any occasion special. I don't know what her secret ingredient is but her cakes taste better than any others. Ever.

We had little time for dinner, so we stopped here for a quick bite. Both employees behind the counter were so nice and really friendly. We choose our sandwiches which were cooked to order and brought to the table. My chicken tasted fresh and was hot.
This place is great value for fast food -- would go back.

Woody's is a fun little diner with friendly staff and good food. The best breaded pork tenderloin sandwich ever. Period. Sandwich & fries basket are giant portions suitable for at least 2, maybe 3. Right off I-75. Go there hungry for diner food. You will be glad you did!

Went through with my granddaughter. Food was good at a good price. Nothing outstanding, but quite tasty. Service was pretty good. They were very fast, so fast if you asked for something they were gone before you could tell them anything else that you wanted. Never came back to refill our beverages. Liked the cheese dip and chizoro mix.

The History of the Alpha and its owner are steeped in rich tradition, stories, and personal narratives. The back bar was built in 1893 by Brunswick Balke Collender Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. The Alpha’s back bar is 24 foot long and is made of hand carved white oak. The wall on the opposite side of the bar is lined with a matching 8-foot tall wainscoting with arched mirrors and the same intricate carvings. At the end of the bar sits a column supporting a leaded glass partition. The back section of the Alpha is the café area. A short café style counter with stationary round swivel stools sits in front of the grill and serving counter. In the back room there are 2 pool tables. Going out the back door, there is a patio with a heater for cooler weather.
