Pacific Sourdough is a small artisan bakery located next to Alsea Bay on the Oregon Coast. We create natural leavened sourdough breads, delicious pastries and specialty desserts.You can visit the bakery on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 to 3 at 740 NE Mill Street in Walport's Old Town area. Limited hours, hard to find but worth searching out and getting something wonderfully delicious.Katie McNeil and Mike Smith, the bakers and owners of Pacific Sourdough also sell fresh baked breads and pastries at the Saturday Farmers' Market in Newport. Market shoppers will find a wide variety of handcrafted Pacific Sourdough breads and specialty pastries baked fresh that day (often still warm from the oven!) and can enjoy the seasonal offerings and inspirations of the bakers.

We purchased 4 items. The shortbread was outstanding.
The Napoleon was good. Don't see these often.
We purchased 2 other items but did not eat them for several days as we were traveling. I think we will eat the items when they are fresher next time.
We stopped at the shop but had also observed them do a brisk business at the final Newport Farmer's Market.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Happy to see such a business in this area. Hope they are there for years to come!!

Driving south from Gleneden Beach, drinking in the gorgeous scenery of rich greens suddenly parting to reveal stunning blue white sea and sky, we stopped at Espresso 101 for a coffee break. There were a couple of roadside tables for us to relax. Intriguing choice of wet or dry cappuccino offered. The coffee was ok and afterwards I enjoyed stretching my legs for a wander along the small street. Other needs catered for with a law office across the road from a Cannabis shop.

Doesn't look like much but if you want a super great burger AND at a great price, Chubby's is for you. Juicy, tasty, and delivered as ordered with several different combinations on the menu. Unless you are really hungry order the Small fries which are plentiful and tasty. As for the rest of their menu you cant go wrong with whatever you order.

Early breakfast food cravings led me to this eatery and the dungeness crab omelet looked too good to bypass, so I ordered it. It was, in this order, huge, delicious and very satisfying. It came with artisan sourdough bread toast and really good potatoes. A treasure--please visit often to keep it in business for my next coast trip.

We are a small drive-thru, walk-up espresso stand that serves organic, fair-trade, shade grown, batch roasted coffee roasted by Cafe Mam. We also serve Humm Kombucha, and sparkling Yerba Mate. We bake scones, cookies, turnovers and wraps daily and offer a variety of delcious bagel sandwiches and treats for the kiddos. We also carry a wide variety of organic and non-gmo milk alternatives. Ask us about our gluten-free and vegetarian options as well!

I'm not a big coffee drinker and was so excited to find all of the great coffee alternatives this place has to offer. They had super fresh fruit smoothies with Greek yogurt! So delicious and the girls working were a delight. I'll definitely be back on my next visit! ☺️

We were driving around the Yachats/Waldport areas tonight and came across this little place - didn't know much about it, and when we stepped inside we saw it was super busy. We got seated quickly, our meals were really tasty and food was brought out quickly, service was great. Would definitely eat here again (and again and again).

We were returning from a trip on Highway 101 to the Coastal Redwoods in Northern California and needed to refuel our hungry bodies, so we stopped at this convenient Chinese Restaurant for a quick meal. We were pleasantly surprised to find good food and excellent service here!

Com se, com sa. Unfortunately, nothing really stood out for us. While our meals were indeed fresh, the flavors just weren't there...pretty blah. Margarita seemed to be made with an off-the-shelf margarita mix from a supermarket, no real lime taste...didn't even finish it. Must say, though, that our server was pleasant. Oh well.

The food was good and there were generous portions. I got the pulled pork; it was fabulous, nice and saucy. The coleslaw that came with nearly every order was good and simple, and I don't even like coleslaw! My sister got the ham melt and there was enough meat for two people, easily! Based on food, I'd give it 5 stars.
Based on the prices (maybe they're normal for a tourist area) and customer service I give it 4. We had a group of 7, including 3 kids- 12, 10 & 8. He insisted we cram into a corner booth. It was a rainy day and the town looked deserted, so it's not like we would have taken seats from other customers. He was quite brusque. Also, it would be nice if he had smaller (and cheaper) portions for kids.
It's a tiny dining room with a great view of the harbor. The picture is what's left after my sister ate more than half of her ham melt. Look at all that meat!

Grocery Store with everything you need. You will pay high prices, so if you're visiting and need groceries, buy them before you get to Waldport.
