We stopped for a quick bite of lunch and loved the food! We had delicious bruschetta for our a appetizer. I had the Margherita pizza and my husband had the veggie panini. Both were wonderful! We have had about a dozen dinners at Evergreen as it serves healthier options than most and is midway between my daughter’s home and mine. Last night convinced us that it’s time to try other (plentiful) restaurants in the area. The waitress was the rudest I’ve encountered in years. I was moved because the ‘better’ table was for a reservation. She wanted to take my order before daughter arrived and when I asked to wait, the attitude popped out. I had to flag her down for anything we wanted after that as she would not check on us at all. The food also disappointed. The salad used to be veggies and beans plus a protein on a bed of lettuce. Now it’s mostly lettuce with a bit of veggies thrown in. I could go on, but you get the idea. Won’t be returning. On a positive note, the kombucha was very good.

Great local place for always freshly cooked food. The 1/4 white chicken, fried chicken, chicken strips burgers with amazing sides. Today I tried the Smoked Meat Loaf, very good. Has a smoked bbq taste and was cooked perfectly. The bad thing it’s the Mondays special and it runs out fast, so get there early.

We stopped by for lunch after seeing their ad on a board on the sidewalk just before crossing the Circus bridge. It made us wonder if they are having trouble attracting business. That was not the case as the restaurant was full. With the open kitchen, and talkative cooking staff, it is a noisy place. On the positive side, my Cuban sandwich was quite good, and my wife enjoyed her tuna fish sandwich. She was not impressed with the chips that were a side to her meal, so the waiter brought her some delicious french fries at no charge. Our waiter, Jordan, was very pleasant and provided good service. However, somehow, our bill got combined with another one, and a $26 bill became $121. They claimed they corrected the problem but the charge has showed up on my credit card account. I expect to get the problem resolved, but should have never happened, thus the reason for rating.

Caught this little place before the crowds on a weekday. Not your father’s breakfast. Everything has this CIA chef’s touch. Wonderful selection of different menu items like the Breakfast BLT with pecan smoked bacon, fried green tomato and arugula and avocado topped with an egg on a ciabatta roll. Incredible! Fresh strong coffee. Perky and informed service. If you haven’t been yet you’ve got to try this place.

This restaurant is actually a small cafe with a limited number of tables inside and outside. It's nicer to eat outside, weather permitting. We ate outside and had a very good pizza for lunch. We had lunch here last week. Everything about it was enjoyable. The restaurant was nicely laid out inside and comfortable outside on the sidewalk. Service was perfect and both our meals were great. The only bad part is that they don't take reservations ESPECIALLY IN SEASON.
Tonight I wanted to take my friend Leo, (visiting from Boston, his daughter Cheryl, his granddaughter Trisha and great-grand-daughter Sofia to dinner here, but unfortunately, there was a bit of a wait.
Goes to show you just how popular this place is....year round too!
Nobody (except myself) had ever tried the FRIED OKRA here, and since it's one of my favorite appetizers, I ordered it and was happy that everyone loved it!!!
Cheryl, the vegetarian ordered a large HOUSE SALAD, a side of COLE SLAW, a side of GARLIC MASHED and was happy with all her choices.
My friend Leo, who's a big RIB lover, ordered the 1/2 RACK OF BABY BACK RIBS with a side of FRENCH FRIES and SWEET CORN ON THE COB. He too liked all his choices.
Trisha wanted the CHOPPED PORK PLATTER and from my recommendation added the GARLIC MASHED POTATOES and the GREEN BEANS as her sides. She declared them all winners. Her little princess daughter Sofia wanted CHICKEN NUGGETS, and MAC & CHEESE, and ate all the nuggets, but left some of the pasta behind.
For myself, I went with the usual CHICKEN AND PULLED PORK PLATTER and again my GARLIC MASHED & GREEN BEANS as sides.
Everyone, without exception was happy with the food and service and we all declared that we would happily return here and of course.....
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

Traveled to Venice Florida for business and needed a nice burger and beer. I found the perfect place. Staff was extremely friendly, place was really quaint and for a relatively small place they had a great draft beer selection. By the way, I returned the next day for another meal :)

My husband told me he was taking me to the best hamburger EVER!. Then.....he took me here. Service was great, waiters wonderful and friendly and the food very generous portions and very tasty. Would definitely go again and again.
