We met my mother-in-law here for a quick lunch. Morganton has a growing downtown with a couple of very cute places. This restaurant being rated very well was an obvious choice.
The service started off strong but quickly went downhill. They were very busy, so maybe she was overwhelmed.
The food was just ok. My mother-in-law has the mussels (an appetizer) for her lunch and loved them. I had a wedge salad with salmon-wouldn’t repeat that choice. The salmon was SUPER thin and very fishy. My husband had a wedge also with shrimp and his was much better.
The cocktails were good. The decor was cute but didn’t make up for the food. If going back to Morganton, I would probably try the other top rated restaurant.

We've been coming to Granby's for years. Whenever we are traveling on I-40 in this area around a meal time, Granny's is a good local restaurant to visit. Breakfast anytime plus daily specials. I like the vegetable plate with lots of choices of veggies.

We had the pulled pork plate with two sides. Excellent! Based on reviews, we tried the sweet potato crunch. Very tasty! The fresh corn on the cob was a special side today and definitely was special. Will definitely return!

This place has a work of art on the Roast beef sandwich w/ hot pepper relish. Coming from Chicago I miss this combo and they deliver a great sandwich. (of course hitting an authentic roast beef isn't the case) it is still delicious. Pizza is not a bad pie either.

burgers, dogs, egg sandwiches, southern sandwiches all served by very nice people, and priced right. Can't miss the big sign. Try it!

This restaurant opened last year in Sept. I went to talk to the owner in October to see if they had anything gluten free. I have gluten intolerance. He said almost everything on the menu is gluten free. I've been eating there every week since then and I absolutely love it. The menu has a good variety. Chef makes gluten free rolls and hush puppies. The food is wonderful. This is the only restaurant in this area I can get gluten free rolls. The food is prepared each day. Chef also makes deserts that are gluten free. All the deserts are prepared using stevia instead of sugar. The Cheese cake is my favorite.

Went around 1:30 , not crowded. Order at counter and they bring it out. I asked the
girl what she suggested ,baked beans or SP cass. She said SPC. Boy was she right!
They put pralines in in crust and the pulled pork was juicy and tender. Take exit 114 to
Connelly Springs, It'll be on your right about 4 miles down, a little hamlet called Baton.
You will love it!

The place could use an update, but the food is good. If you like old fashioned fried chicken and the trimmings then you will enjoy this restaurant. The chicken sandwich is very good!

Our restaurant is a great family atmosphere. We offer a variety of choices for the whole family. we have amazing pizzas, calzones and Stromboli's made from top quality ingredients. We offer fresh green salads and garlic bread with our specialty pasta dishes. Delicious baked subs with french fries or home style chips. Also a wide variety of appetizers from wings to brochette. Try to leave room for our gourmet desserts!! or just start with dessert.
Saw the place and decided....why not. The restaurant is an old house. The menu is Italian style. Our waitress recommended the sandwiches. We had sandwiches and chips. The sandwiches were large and plentiful. I had the club sandwich....amazing hit the spot. And had leftovers. Great place and within budget.
