Don't be fooled by the gas station look out front, this is a full local grocery with a good produce section, meat counter, and restaurant. They feature pies, lots of pies, good southern pies.....they're from a bakery nearby but boy are they good......a great place to stop

Cupcrazed Cakery always has great customer service and of course, fabulous cupcakes. They won an episode of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars! My favorite is the red velvet, which is a regular flavor. Everyday they have different flavored cupcakes as well as cake pops and cookies. A place to go soon, if you have not!

Voted Best Place to take a Date, and Best Patio

Reviewed By barberrr - Charlotte, North Carolina

My wife and I had an enjoyable lunch. Both of us ordered the soup du jour, split pea with ham. Tasty -- the peas were slightly underdone but a little more than true al dente. Not mushy like Campbell's, and definitely not out of a can. My wife had the Maryland-style Crab Cakes, I ordered the Chicken Fajita Wrap. Both came with a pile of crispy homemade potato chips. Very good dishes, although the "remoulade" served with her Crab Cakes was not very good, tasted like vinegar and tomato. The restaurant is a converted home, with a nice outdoor dining area under a shady pergola in front, but not for a wintery day like today. Pretty nice-sized lunch crowd, mostly older folks like ourselves. We will definitely be back to sample more. Brunch is served from 11am to 3pm. The Benedict Arnold sounded tempting.

We had an excellent meal. Only problem is it is quite loud. We were there early and had to wait for rest of group to arrive. It filled up fast. And can understand. Wonderful servers and awesome food. I had scallops which were cooked to perfection with mushroom risotto. Highly recommend but don’t expect to have a quiet conversation with your friends. In a lovely old building.

Been wanting to try this place so I finally tried it. $$$ price wise, skimpy on Holidaise and extra .35 for onions with home fries. Probably will try it ahain and order something else.

Bruster's Ice Cream

Reviewed By j952 - Charlotte, North Carolina

I'm not an ice cream fanatic, but this place was very good. The waffle cone and ice cream was very good. The pistachio was packed with - pistachios. And the chocolate chip mint was well balanced with the chips. The ice cream part of both flavors wasn't overly sweet. Prices were reasonable.
We were very impressed with Maddie. She patiently described all the ordering permutations with the different flavors and sizes.
Will definitely return.

I go about once a month to Breadsmith in Fort Mill and love the specialty breads and dessert breads. Staff are always friendly and if you can't make up your mind can sample. My favorite dessert bread is the pumpkin choc chip bread and love the French peasant loaf.
There is always a great variety of loaves and dessert breads, muffins to try and all yummy.

While the food is good and the service is uncommonly friendly and attentive, it process is sloooow. Don't expect to stop in for a last minute bite before your meeting. The place is interestingly decorated and always clean.
Getting there early is not only because of the slow kitchen, but early means fewer people and fewer people means less background noise. (We like quiet dining.)

521 BBQ & Grill - Tega Cay

Reviewed By fozjon - Patna, India

food is good here. The barbecue is certainly tasty and there are a couple of sauces available on the table. We went with the Tuesday special regular barbecue sandwich with a side and cole slaw. I did not like the "red" cole slaw. Silly me, I thought it would just be made from red cabbage...it was made with vinegar rather than mayo. The sandwich was tasty but it was just on a hamburger bun. The fried okra (instead of fries) was good.
