Beverly Hills Grill

For more than 25 years, our sophisticated menu of contemporary American food has drawn guests from far and wide. You can’t beat the vibe of Beverly Hills Grill. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and our weekend brunch is simply legendary. With a menu and décor inspired by the Californian city of Beverly Hills, we’re small enough to feel cozy but big on both flavor and style.

This is one of our most favorite restaurants. It is a small place with only a few tables and you cannot make reservations. The food is excellent, the waiters are very friendly and you always feel very welcome.
After being overseas for a couple of years this was one of the first places we revisited. And we were not disappointed. Glad to be home again.

You cant find anything on the menu that uses than great. No matter what you choose, it's guaranteed to be good. Love the meatloaf, chicken and catfish. The sides are amazing - green beans, collard greens, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, etc....

The service is outstanding. Never had less than an outstanding experience here.

Streetside Seafood

I was back in the Detroit area after several years. With a friend we went to have a dinner at Streetside. The restaurant is relatively small and in case I would recommend a reservation. The atmosphere is beautiful. Staff friendly and polite. Menu offers both fish and meat. We had fried Calamari as appetiters and Filet Mignon as main course. Both of them were delicious. Finally we got Fudge Sundae and Spec Sundae, both ok. The wine list is fine with a wide choice of international wines. Overall the price per person was in the range of $55. I strongly recommend to go there.

My wife suggested this restaurant, and my first thought was, " More boring fake meat dishes". Boy, was I WRONG! This is chef-quality cuisine that doesn't have to pretend! The presentation, layers of flavors, the textures, the aromas all made for a wonderful, artfully prepared, fulfilling meal. Nothing was " missing" or "fake"! Service was attentive, friendly, and fast. The dining area and restroom are a bit dated and worn - but, that FOOD!!!!!

Bacco Ristorante

Reviewed By John D - Rochester, Michigan

We love this fine dinner by Italian eatery. It’s expensive but it’s a delight and a nice place to eat on special occasions. We see older and younger couples as well as families there. It’s not as trendy as Birmingham, Royal Oak or Troy restaurants are, but you have to try it at least one.
The staff is very attentive and the food is excellent.
We started off with the anti pasta, Salciccia, and it was delicious. The Caesar salad was very good but the soup was simply delicious and one of the best soups around. It was a pork stock with beans, cabbage and vegetables. The filet is delicious as is the ossobucco. I prefer the filet over the ossobucco. I loved the pappardelle, a lamb ragu pasta, but my wife did not.

Pita Cafe is hands-down the greatest Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to. Their food is amazing, especially the chicken shawarma's and the pita bread that they make right there. The service is fast, the portion sizes are good (especially the hummus) and the prices are great too. I highly recommend this place!

Someone drags me here once every 5-10 years but I must admit I don't get the appeal. The place is dark and dingy. The food is meah. This time I noticed a much improved selection of beers including draft beers...but not cheap. Very popular place though. I'm clearly in the minority.

Good food but noisy on a Sunday. The background music from the 1980's didn't quite set the tone for us. Breakfast was like I made it at home. I'm not a good breakfast maker :(. The experience was interesting. Slow service. I'm sorry to leave an unfavorable review. We'll try again in case this was just one of those "off" days. Thanks TOAST just the same
