Jitters Java Cafe

Reviewed By Jesse T

Can't say enough how much I enjoyed my afternoon at Jitters! My wife and I came in from Minneapolis to meet a friend so we enjoyed coffee and lunch here and everything was just fantastic.

The coffee: Awesome. I actually liked their Pumpkin Pie Latte better than Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice (and I love Starbucks Pumpkin Spice). I also tried their dark roast, black, and it was also delicious and above other similar coffee shops I have been to.

Lunch was a nice surprise; I tend not to expect much in terms of food quality from coffee shops but this place rocked it. I had Thai Chicken Salad and it was fantastic; my wife had the taco salad and thought it was great as well. Their desserts are heavenly; try to the pumpkin bar if they have it. You won't be disappointed. They also have gluten free options available.

Overall the atmosphere was extremely nice and the service was beyond friendly. It was fun to watch so many people come in and just enjoy themselves at this shop; it was a very nice experience and I'll be sure to return next time I'm in Sauk Centre!

Dairy Queen

This Dairy Queen seems to really skimp on the ingredients in their Blizzards. I feel like they just whip up some vanilla ice cream and put about 1 small scoop of whatever flavoring you asked. I have asked for "extra" even offering to pay more but it is no use. Annoying!

Tutti Fruitti Market Farm - Marlene's Tutti Fruitti Kitchen

A friend brought me out to the farm for lunch. We chose the buffet which had tacos, fish and roast beef. They had salad, soup, and dessert for just $7.95. Many people were eating breakfast, but we chose the lunch menu. Service was great. Took a
caramel roll home for breakfast the next day and they were great, too. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

The Truckers Inn has good American-style food. Breakfast is excellent, especially the hash browns. The pancakes are enormous so only order one! At other meals, when in doubt, order the Bison Burger.

I loved the staff at this place. The bar was cozy and fun to hang out in. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The food was very good. The staff will tell you interesting stories about the hotel. I would come back again! I might have witnessed a thing or two. But I wasn't afraid.

Elmerz Restaurant

Three of us ate here (2 pasta bowls and a reuben plus drinks) for $47. Food was good, with respectable sized servings. Service was prompt and staff friendly. Waitress attentive but not hovering. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was turned down way too low, but it was only 6 PM and maybe they were trying to keep ahead of the crowd later.

Small cafe in a small town. Very reasonably priced food. Onion rings were very good, as were the burgers. Rest of group had breakfast food, large, large omelettes. Very local, I could tell they stared at us out of towners.

The ambiance is very nice for a bar and grill. However, servers need to be trained in how to serve food to patrons.I asked for lemon for my water and the server came with three slices of lemon in her BARE hand. Very unsanitary. Our friends ordered a BOWL of soup but instead received a HALF cup of soup. The fish dinner was okay for the price.

We took a bus trip to a casino for an overnight and the last stop was a fantastic supper at this restaurant. The wait staff were very efficient for a huge amount of diners that descended on them off the buses. The food was fresh and delicious. We were totally impressed and will come back again.
