Nestled in the heart of the historic and charming village of Rancho Santa Fe, just four miles inland from Del Mar, Mille Fleurs offers magnificent food presentation with extraordinary French flair. The exquisite yet comfortable French country decor with inviting outside patio provides an atmosphere that is gracious, warm and welcoming. Mille Fleurs has received numerous accolades including: "Top 25 in America" from Food & Wine Magazine "Far and away the best restaurant sampled in greater San Diego" quoted in The New York Times as well as "Best French" and "Best of the Best" in San Diego Magazine. Our award winning wine cellar offers over seven hundred choices spanning the globe and varying greatly in price. A mile down the road is the Chino's Family Farm where our chef heads every day to select the choicest fruits and vegetables.
Though I don't go to Mille Fleurs that oftern, I always like it when the maitre'd knows my name and welcomes me in a friendly way. Last night was no exception. The food was excellent as was the service.I had requested a certain table, and the staff honored my request. Our party of six enjoyed the entire experience.
Restaurants in recent years have become more informal, more noisy, and less personal. Mille Fleurs is an oasis in that regard.

Every aspect of the eating experience exceeded expectations. Complimentary tastings between courses were delicious and the chef made individual exceptions for 2 of the diners food restrictions (vegan and gluten free). The traditional meals were phenomenal, but the fresh locally grown vegetables made the vegan roasted dish greatly appreciated.

I am here almost every week early morning. If you're there too early sometimes the selection is limited but they're slinging it all day long. Really can't go wrong with this old school doughnut shop. Cakes, breads, rolls and more. Its a Cardiff icon.

For 22 years, Thyme has shared our family's tradition of fresh ingredients, made in a simple way, with our friends and community. Serving breakfast, lunch and a delicious array of bakery all prepared in our kitchen from scratch, daily.
Can't believe it took me all these years to find this wonderful GEM! Absolutely packed out for lunch midweek....and I can see why! Exquisite atmosphere and delicious food... I will be returning often!! Can't say enough ... there is indoor and outdoor seating...and there are decorations all throughout that are for sale if you see something you can't live without! The salads we had were unique, plentiful and delicious! You order your food at the front, pay, then find a seat, and they serve you from there.

We are a cafe and bakery located in the heart of Solana Beach. We specialize in fresh, homemade, California-style comfort food as well as a variety of homemade breads, pastries and desserts. We are family friendly, dog friendly, and most of all just plain friendly, so come on in and check us out!
Great friendly place to eat. Decorated with fun twists like lights that look like birds nests and chandelier near kitchen that is made out of large kitchen whisks. Outside dining area fantastic in a warm day.
Had Claire’s lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberries. They were amazing. Poached eggs perfectly cooked. They always give you a little shortbread cookie for each person after your meal.
Visit Claire’s Too in their parking lot for a latte or mocha while you wait for your table. The are pulling shots of Bird Rock Coffee (local roaster in La Jolla).

This small supermarket has the best deli
Their cold case is filled with every kind of side dish and salad you can imagine. The market is famous for their cooked tri tip roast. Produce is very good also. Management gets it . Great store with high quality foods that delight locals. Great sandwiches as well. A neighborhood gem

Each year from March 1st through June 30th, we are Camp Hosts at San Elijo State Beach in Cardiff By The Sea, CA. Pipes is our very favorite restaurant. We especially enjoy their Cheese Burger Basket with great tasty fries. We always make sure to get there early, because they are always packed by mealtime. We especially enjoy their outside dining area where we can see and enjoy the ocean while we eat. We certainly highly recommend Pipes as The Place to have a great dining experience.

We enjoyed diner here with lobster nachos which were excellent, the calamari was good but not great. The Mahdi tacos were excellent. We also had a bottle of their house blend red wine which was a good table wine.

Bruno said it was his favourite Thai restaurant and so it was a natural for our last night. The decor was a melange of traditional Thai and Buddhist art and statuary. What struck me as unique was a portrait of one of the ancestral kings of Siam; now that deserves a much longer conversation. Bruno ordered and we devoured; all remarking just how great the food was. Don't miss it.
